Riot buffed Jayce just a hair not too long ago. Keep it up. He is in such a funky spot right now. He's too squishy to be a diving fighter and lacks enough raw damage to be a ADC.
My suggestion. He needs his cannon Q to apply on hit effects. Getting life steal and black cleaver stacks off that would help him so much without breaking his ratios.

Except he's AD and lacks the burst of Nid. If he was AP I could buy that he was that but the Cannon only dose normal AD damage that can not be augmented by items. Even with a full Armor Pen build he doesn't chunk like Nid.

^ What the hell do you mean tons of mobility hes like one of the most mono directional champions in the game. He can speed up and jump on top of you he can't run away from anyone who wants to stop him. He's no Nidalee.

The Q dose not apply the DDs affect. I've been building it long enough to know. Also as far as I know while the Q stacks the BK I don't think it can apply it in the first place. The Q dose not apply any on hit affects such as Life steal.

It might be Jayces old Spaghetti code but the Q has never healed me that I have noticed with DD.

Death's Dance is intended to heal you for physical damage dealt (reduced to 1/3 on AoE abilities like Jayce's Q).
I would suggest testing the interaction in a custom game to see if you are actually healing. Since the heal is reduced for AoE abilities, you may just not be noticing it when you only his a single target.

I do stand corrected it heals but it is so negligible you need to be looking at the numbers to notice them jump 15 points for a direct hit. I stand by my statement he needs it to apply more LS.
