Fun off-meta in the MID lane?

I'm looking for fun off-meta or weird picks that are actually viable (or almost) in the mid lane... Stuff like AP Kai'Sa. Thx brehs.

If you want something slightly crazy, you can try this out, but keep in mind that by late game, you're basically still just a more aggressive variant of support. Also, do NOT try this into anyone with strong waveclear (especially Malzahar)

Nami

HailofBlades/CheapShot/GhostPoro/UltHunter (or ravenous works too)

With either FontofLife/Revitalize (good for junglers) or Triumph/Legend: Bloodline (good for you)

And a full AP item set...my usual is (in no particular order, but usually rushing Gunblade) item 3146 item 3020 item 3100 item 3102 item 3151 item 3089 (If I'm feeling super confident, I'll drop BV for item 3135 )

I've ran it in a few games...she's actually really good as a solo mid laner against most of the meta assassins (She can actually out-trade Zed, Talon and even LeBlanc in lane if you're good at catching them with your bubble and playing more hit-and-run when your E/HailofBlades is ready)

Wukong mid is usually fun.

Aatrox is Korean mid meta so it counts as off meta
