As an ADC is Crit better than armor pen to kill huge tanks

When I play ADC and i see a really big tank I just feel like LW with my items still dont hurt him at all. While watching the challenger series I heard phreak say that crit is the best thing to bring down big tanks. So is that true? Should I be getting more crit instead of armor pen if a tank is huge

I honestly wouldn't be surprised...

But I still wouldn't listen to Phreak with that kind of advice... he also said that a second Phantom Dancer is better than a Zephyr as a 6th item on ADC...

It is in terms of AA damage. Zephyr, however, is all around better.

If AA damage was all you were worried about, I'd get that PD everytime...

Too bad late game ADC's aren't ONLY worried about their AA Damage.
