Takes forever to login and when I do doesn't connect to chat
I've had this bug for about a month now and doesn't seem to get fixed. Doubt its my internet because it works fine, and I have no problem in games.

Nope. It is obviously your computer and internet. I have this same issues, so our computers/internets are shit together. A bunch of other people have this issues too, so their internets/computers are shit as well. But, all of our computers/internets just don't like league since we can play any other game perfectly fine.
I only know that it is our internets/computers because the bug has been around for so fucking long and Riot hasn't done a single thing to attempt to fix it. Therefore, they know it is not a problem on their end and it is on ours. Sorry.
My son is having this problem. I'll take a good look at it tonight or tomorrow. Should be able to help you then i think.

See this just started happening to me tonight. I've played a game, still trying to log me into chat. It's weird, because i haven't updated or adjusted any settings recently, but for some reason it just wont log me into chat tonight.
I also have this issue. I think it is due to Riot's server migration. East coast NA players got screwed. If and when i finally do connect to game, I have a hard time connecting to chat, and when i finally get that to work, any game im in has 120+ ping so its riot, not you. Thanks riot for screwing us over. maybe get better servers. idk its very upsetting. I play other games just fine. My friend apparently gets better ping and server connection to latin servers. im going to try it soon. Its just very disappointing.
It doesn't take me forever to login but I have the same can't connect to chat issue
