is anyone else not happy with how the chat size goes with the HUD scale now?

I usually play LOL with my HUD scale really low so I can have a clearer view on my screen. However, now that the chat size changes depending on how the HUD changes it leaves me no choice but to have a huge HUD which covers like half of my screen. I feel like this is a really unnecessary addition as there is already an option that allows you to set your wanted chat size. Hoping that this can be changed thank youu
