Only as good as your team's worst player meta

How is matchmaking balanced when so many games have so many 1/9 stories?

I get folks on my team begging to end their suffering of being matched against players they have no real chance against.

I feel I'm playing well enough to win. I can't make up for the jg dying repeatedly with hefty res timers. I can't make up for the adc doing terrible damage.

And honestly if I could, I'd probably be in need of a nerf because this is a 5v5 game, not 3v5 while 2 contribute the bare minimum and still manage to win game.

I just won 11 games in a row, and now i'm losing 5 in a row. The difference has been very profound.

The loss streak has been accompanied by teammates getting completely blown out and begging to be let out despite whatever reason matchmaking thought it appropriate to include them in the group.

3 of my last 5 games i've had a player on the team with the following scores

1/9

1/10

3/10

Then the other 2 games we get scores of 2/8, 3/8 ,1/7, 2/9

Why expose players like this to the misery of being matched inappropriately?

This is exactly how matchmaking works. Completely one sided games. I bet when you were on your winstreak there were games you couldve afked and your team wouldve still won but once your on the loss streak you have to be duo abusing and playing at a challenger level to win.

Every game you ever play will have a worst player sometimes it is even you.

Play your best and you will climb

I had a game yesterday so bad we had a following me trying to steal my camps and running it down mid and we still won the game by 20 cause of how awful the enemy team was in comparison just to prove its not a bad game she also build crit mid lane and mobis .
