New Dragon Idea - Resolve Dragon

A dragon specifically for tanks. Yay or na.
A dragon specifically for tanks. Yay or na.
Riot would make it like the wind/ocean dragon.
"Out of combat"
why cant this just be the mountain drake? We already have infernal drake for damage... We dont need one that is MORE DMG to structures only... EDIT: Oh and baron...
I just want a new Resolve keystone - one that is actually for tanks.
Grasp is a laning rune, it doesn't help you in team fights virtually at all, it's abused by some champions like GP and a few mages in unfavorable matchups that they wouldn't rather have klepto.
Aftershock is much less effective for tanks than other champs - getting 120 armor when you have 200 is crap ass, and the champions who might want it can not trigger it reliably (Malphite is a good example)
Guardian is support exclusive.
Meanwhile, damage dealers have their pick of the litter, do you want to do 3 auto attacks, 3 spells, one big spell, lots of spells, lots of auto attacks, lots of auto attacks but with true damage... and tanks have nothing. Nothing that actually helps them serve their true function. Summoner spellbook is the last bastion of every champion without a keystone, except all those champions just got canned, so actually we have nothing.
It would make team who could take it slightly harder to kill, dev team might use it as a Band-Aid instead of fixing the damage problem which makes those stats near worthless in current state.
We need a Luck dragon, every story needs an ending.
drakes by design are supposed to be effective for everyone on a team, so nay
This will never happen because it's the exact opposite of how the dragons are designed to work. They are designed to most benefit the winning team, and the winning team rarely has a lot of defensive stats.
Dragons are now the game closing objective, not the catch up high risk objective. This would be such a buff, therefore will never happen.
gets 3rd resolve drake , ezreal with
and
becomes unkillable

I'd rather have a Tenacity dragon than a resistances dragon.
Personally, I think the dragon system could use a rework. Infernal is too strong, Cloud is still kinda weak, Mountain feels lame, and teams have no control over what sorts of dragons they get. A ttank gets a TON of value out of an early Ocean, but Infernal doesn't really do anything for an enchanter support. It doesn't feel good to have the buff you can use be up to random chance.
Instead, I'd rather there be a "totem crafting" system, where dragons drop materials a la Monster Hunter, and each player can build their own buff from those parts. Each dragon would have a handful of different traits you could add to your totem, but all in the same general category.
For example, if your team had an Infernal and a Cloud, the ADC might build their totem out of an Infernal Fang and Cloud Claw, giving them bonus AD and attack speed, while the jungler might use an Infernal Claw and Cloud Wing to get a Scorch-like proc and out-of-combat movement speed, while still the tank would grab the Infernal Heart and Cloud Scales to get a small Sunfire-like effect on-hit and a small burst of movement speed when they take damage.
It would be similar to runes, only they'd get progressively better as the game went on and your jungler had good objective control. Every dragon would be worth doing, and mid/bot lane priority would be so much more important. It wouldn't just be the ability of the jungler to roam around and get kills, but for the botlaners to stay up to contest the dragon and the midlane to keep priority so they can shove and look to help secure it. Mages would be stronger in the midlane, as their ability to shove the wave and use long-range spells to steal dragons would be much more valuable.
Just change mountain to such an effect, objectives really die fast enough without it's damage amp already and a defensive bonus would be very fitting.
Pretty sure it wont matte because of % pen. Hp is a better stat, but it would be broken on drag.
