All I've been seeing top lately is 
etc basically all champs you cant have any fun playing against and who just suck all the fun out the lane if you're a genuine melee top laner lol

Top is role is a joke since season 7. Drafting wins top in champ selection. You're first pick top, hardly countered? Have fun and be destroyed.
Love how it’s only a problem when top has to deal with it. Everyone else is just whining.

You will need to cherish the moments you did, cause it's gonna get worse.
Send bot/mid lane. Heimerdinger adds good variety to bot lane and is healthier there than top.
Send to mid and support.
Nerf but don't gut him. 49-50% winrate top won't be oppressive.
top is a non-issue in my opinion. She is kind of annoying anywhere and there isn't a healthier lane for her than top/mid. She is okay as long as her winrate is kept low.
Mini re-rework 
so she is a decent melee skirmisher who evolves into a medium(Urgot)-range threat, not a hypercarry long-range marksman who just tries to stall through laning.
My biggest problem is the teleport nerfs. The fact that I'm better off playing ignite teemo than an actual top laner with TP says a lot about where this game has gone.
Vayne top has a 48% wr with a 1% pick rate atm, its not good anymore.

and it did nothing because she built 
i was levels ahead and items ahead but because she had 0 ad attack speed items she melted me.
if you cant build against it it shuld not be in the game
I see an Heimer once in a hundred games, and it's usually in the mid/bot lane.
Regarding akali is more so the fact riot made her near unplayable mid
SO that's all akali has and even then she's sub 45.....
But I have nearly never seen karma or vayne to be considered an issue, kench is getting completely nerfed and heim has been a top laner since forever
i have lots of fun at top. 
top with shield bash, grasp, bone plating, and revitalize is absolutely busted against a LOT of matchups. stomps akali for sure. if you're careful it can be tahm too. diana also has the virtue of being a hard counter to heimer and karma. vayne is an issue because of her 3 hit passive and spammable stealth after 6.
if the matchup dictates i can't play diana(not often, usually only nasus pantheon kennen and jax give me trouble) i'll just run 
with e build, rush a 
, and then lol until im about to pass out as I max e and spam it, getting near perfect farm while also slapping people with deceptively high aoe/damage over time
Top lane was never fun to begin with

The key is to get good with 2 champs that are safe/uncounterable.
But its a good idea to get good to smash any class you will encounter.

You forgot Teemo
Vayne is barely ever played top, you'll on average see her once every 100 games. Heimerdinger has been top since basically forever, kinda mute point arguing about him ruining top.
So why play top lane then? Its not like it JUST became like that, its always had a very strong rock paper scissors element to it being the long lane.
I kinda think now is the best time for top laners since games dont go past 30 without trolling involved, and that is perfect for playing around a winning top laners power spikes.
