Why do people build 
as the first item, especially in esports, when her stun/slow is increased by her building crit items?
Does Blade of the Ruined King do something better? I know it's a favorite item for most adcs right now but it doesn't make much sense to me on Ashe as a priority build item as compared to Lucian or any other adc.
Probably cause it is over loaded? ASP, AD, LS and its passive (which procs lifesteal i believe) It has everything an ADC needs rolled into one item. And she is heavily AA based so the passive doesnt go to waste. just imo
The only reason youd build it on Ashe imo is if you went 
Bork is extremely potent right now. It is honestly too strong which is why it is getting nerfed.
It brings everything Ashe needs early. Attack speed, life steal, a utility active for safety. The only thing it is missing is crit. That said, if you are against a LOT of enemies without gap closers and can kite, I would still rush triple crit over it.
It is really popular because of all it gives you attack speed ad and life steal but I personally don't like it. My main build is ER, boots, runnans, IE, LDR or mortal reminder based on enemy team and BD. been working for me pretty well
