Idea For the Towers
Why not simply speed up their rate of fire? Wouldn't that be the simplest buff?

It would mess up last hits a lot.
I was actually thinking riot should change the tower shots so they arent coded as autoattacks, then you wouldnt see people with one item and ninji tabis tanking tower shots like a god forever.

They should buff their defensive stats. I don't recall towers falling so easily in other seasons. Especially since we now have Earth Drake, AP champions dealing extra magic damage to them, red buff dealing true damage, and (soon) the Rift Herald nuking them for 1k true damage and then proceeding to pulverize them.
That's why games are so pubstompy and last around 25 minutes. That's why late game champions aren't very viable right now and why early game champions rule the Rift.
But that might be just a preference, since I've always loved reaching late game since I started playing (around Season 2).
What about a shield that is granted over time when an enemy champ(s) run under neath tower while you are under. So a shield of 100, And could stack up to 5 times depending on the situation.
IF they leave turret, your shield will deplete over time, and if they deal 100 damage to your shield it will be put on cd of maybe 30seconds.
Slow on hit (alternatively, attack speed slow on hit).
The problem is they have no presence; once you're past the point of their damage being effective, which can be as low as level 5 for some, they pretty much become an inconvenience rather than an obstacle-- you'll survive the gank but only with half health instead of three-quarters. You know?
They need to do something besides lump damage when some champions are designed to deal with lump damage.
I was thinking adding a % total HP physical damage, increasing a bit on every shot.
Tanks still tank dozens of turret shots. Carries are punished harder for tower diving. Everyone has a harder time farming under tower. No thank you.
