Ashe is safe to farm with in lane against a Caitlyn due to her increased AA range and ability to harass with her W. Caitlyn can't bully Ashe the way that she can bully champions like Twitch or Kalista, who have to get a lot closer to the waves in order to farm and trade back damage.
