it's taking fucking forever. i have no rp on that account and i do like, 1 or 2 normal games a day but i feel like i'm getting no XP for them. it takes way too long to reach 30 and i haven't done it in years.
what's the trick? do i get more xp for rushing bot games in 7 mins than playing long normal games?

If team mates don't comply, champions like 
and 
push hard, granted you get a few kills quickly and don't die.
Two downsides are team mates not pushing bot lane, and the fact that top lane bots may or may not head bot lane once you are at their inhibitor / inhibitor turret, and they may or may not murk you and your team mates (if they joined)
I don't like Summoner's Rift, so I don't do it often, but sometimes telling everyone to push mid works. Main downside is that you have to convince or plead with 4 other people to push with you compared to 2.
