People keep telling me to build item 3070 on Singed ... Guh. item 3027 has been decent situationally as of late, but Tear is a no-go.

No resists to go with health just means you get destroyed by BoRK or any inherent %health in a champion's kit (J4, Poppy, Zed, Ekko W, Jhin Passive/Ult, any other source).

It's not optimal must-build like Rylai's, and you definitely get Rylai's pretty much immediately after... Basically you get it against teams that lack physical damage and %health damage. Because a fully-stacked RoA DOES give a lot of usefulness to Singed, it's just getting it a lot of other match-ups gives up your early-game entirely.

But seriously Singed passive is the epitome of a noob trap since you get MUCH more defense out of a Rylai's over an AA staff since they give roughly the same amount of health and AP, but Rylais gives him survivability in the form of the slow and not having to wait 20 minutes for any of it. Also, most mana items offer little bulk that would outweigh any health equivalent. FH? DMP, Sunfire, and Randy's all offer armor and health as well as better utility (most teams have at most 2 AA'ers and most are rarely phased by FH such as Jhin or Ezreal ADC). If his passive didn't have a pitiful .25 ratio on the mana-health conversion it MIGHT be worth investing in, but as it is you actually LOSE bulk by investing in the passive as opposed to just going for raw health.

Yeah, you usually built a Catalyst and went into RoA or Banshee's depending on what your team needed (damage or an MR tank with that spell shield that was very strong at the time).

Who said the build was supposed to be bulky? It's hilarious with 250 damage poison ticks and 250 damage Autos and that doesn't count Liandry's burn at all. Your tanky enough if you know how to play around EVERY BORK which you aggro. (and believe me you aggro ALL OF THEM)

Besides the goal isn't to be a tank, its to basically be a carry. It forces enemies to choose to fight the Singed who is ALWAYS behind them ready to 1v1 their carries or the Singed's team. If they choose to fight Singed's team then the Singed dives into the carries while keeping them in range with Flip and Rylais, while doing damage with poison, AAs, and Liandy's burn. If the enemies try to fight Singed then he hits ghost and kites away with Rylais, while doing poison and Liandry's damage, and the Rylais slow should be enough for Singed's team to follow up. Also this build allows Singed to push EVEN FASTER because the Muramana covers his weak point of taking towers.

Though honestly this isn't a build I would take into Ranked. I made it to commit Singed type shenanigans with my friends, its just a fun little option when you are okay with sacrificing some tanky for damage.

This is how i feel when I play Poppy and Udyr... Especially Udyr.

Everyone wants me to play Runic Echoes / Trick2g build: item 3009 item 1402 item 3025 item 3512 item 3742 item 3065

I constantly get told I don't know what I'm doing and i'm a shitty Udyr when I play Devourer or Tiger Udyr. Honestly, I love Devourer Pheonix and Warrior Tiger a hell of a lot more than Runic Echoes. Yes, I lose a little tankiness, and some of that crazy movespeed, but I gain so much more damage and tower pressure that helps me carry games a lot more (especially in silver Elo). Maybe if I was in a pre-made 5 where I could really count on my teammates would I go Runic just for more overall map presence.

My standard Devourer Pheonix: item 3111 item 1403 item 3078 item 3110 item 3742 item 3065 My favorite Devourer Pheonix (If i'm really ahead): item 3124

My standard Tiger: item 3009 item 1412 item 3078 item 3110 item 3742 item 3102

On Poppy everyone expects me to go the classic: item 3009 item 3068 item 3025 item 3065 item 3742 item 3053

Again, People get so frustrated that I'm not 100% tank and call me a noob. Sometimes I will build that, if the enemy team-comp calls for it. But In most games I like having 45% CDR and a little extra damage so I can actually make a significant impact other than just running around stunning people and stopping dashes.

i started playing udyr when he was fotm (well i guess he still is) because i wanted to learn how to shut him down, and the first game i played him i accidentally built devourer but went phoenix and it actually went a lot better than phoenix runic echos for some reason

i don't know anyone that still goes tiger tho

Yeah Devourer pheonix is just so strong. Fully sated, every other hit you get a pheonix proc and way more often with the attack speed. This is the best build for team fights imo.

However, Tiger is quickly becoming my favorite build. Tiger scales so well off of AD and the dot is so strong that with red smite you can 1v1 just about anyone easily (even Xin Xiao, Jax, and Shyvana). With red buff ganks with Tiger are so strong cause you can take almost half their life with one tiger proc. Also, Tiger is far superior to any other build for Tower damage. You become one of the best split pushers in the game (like Tryndamere good). Sometimes I'll run ZZ'Rot and while the enemy moves towards my team ill take one if not two towers to punish them for it.

He's still just as strong in my opinion, They really only nerfed the Trick2g build because they nerfed runic echoes, nerfed iceborn, nerfed ZZrot, nerfed his pheonix stance, and his passive. Even then that build can be strong depending on the team comp.

I've got a 61.1% winrate on Udyr (95 games, 57W-37L) playing a heavy mix of Devourer Pheonix and Warrior Tiger. Those builds weren't really touched that much by their nerfs, and they were arguably stronger to begin with. Being able to play both gives you a lot of good options too depending on your team comp. If your team is heavy AD / low AP, then run pheonix for extra magic damage. If your team is heavy AP / light ad, run Tiger for stronger turret pressure and extra physical damage.

Thats the thing if you see someone going Tiger Udyr, they know whats up and will destroy you. Even worse if you see one go top lane, prepare for the cheese. (the top lane one was from awhile ago, not sure if its even semi-viable anymore)

Every time man. Had like 2 deaths one game (where the average death on my team was upwards of 6-7+) and they all pinged me back when I was safely split pushing as Ekko. Like I don't get caught nearly as much as you dummies so I do not need to listen to your mia pings from bot lane when I am at their T2 top as a very mobile champion that can escape the gank anyway.
