Am I the only one that already thinks the AP ratios are going to be 100% useless? I mean, hey, she has ap ratios now, but unless you hit 1k+ ap, your W on-hit damage is going to do a whopping 25 damage or less. At, say, 200 AP? (A fully stacked guinsoo's, Baron buff, and blue buff should give you that much atleast) Your W does an additional 20 damage and your on-hit does an additional 5. Super impressive, Rito.
Well if any AD scaling is being changed to AP, then that's probably a nerf to AD Shyvana. AP Shyvana is already viable and can be extremely strong. She doesn't need high ratios. There's not much variation to AP Shyvana though, usually Rylais, Liandry's, and Sunfire.
In the past, they nerfed some champs by 3 AD and it had an impact. Don't scoff at a 5-points change in damage, it can have more of an impact than you think.
An in this case, even if the change is not great, it means that you can buy Guinsoo without 2nd-guessing yourself as much and wondering if it was a good idea. Yi ratio was also increased, and Nocturne got a brand new AP ratio. At least, Shyvana had the pretext of already dealing half-magic damage. The thing is, they are trying to push Guinsoo's as a core item for basic attack-reliant champions.
They only put scaling on her so ap from

They are designed it to be 75% useless sometimes it will be relevent.
Full AP Shyvana is a thing now.
