All the poppies I've faced as Mordekaiser lately were some of the easiest lane's I've ever had, even in the later stages of the game I was able to easily shred her with the combination of Liandries/rylais and the blunt force of Mace of Spades.
Still, kinda amazed how easy that dreaded half-pint is to deal with.

Be it my old Drain tank build to my newer mid game focused pen build, the only constant in this equation is the champion itself.

If you don't mind me asking, what is it about Morde that keeps you faithful to the iron revenant? I'm genuinely curious, and have wondered for a while.
Malicious Metal1 votesHonestly, it's because I feel attached to him on a personal level due to a variety of things. He was literally the first champion I played and his lore and themes got me hooked on him. Being this oddball champion who was seen as trash only helped me grow even more fond of him and investing some time into him I came to realize that he's just the perfect champion for me, be it in terms of lore or simply because of his core theme of "Heavy Metal Overlord who'll just destroy you if you dare face him"
So yeah, a mix of thematics, gameplay and just a pinch of nostalgia.

He's not the first guy i played, i only tried out old warwick last week for laughs, but his lore makes him seem more human and we both know what it's like to have tubes put in us, and how much it hurts having it pushing and stabbing you. His gameplay also looks cool. So I have your list of everything except nostalgia.

Well, Fiora can outduel Mordekaiser later in the game. Also, she can parry the third Q, which makes her win the trade since the third Q is the one which deals the most damage.

in my mind riven destroys mordekaiser specially with that base armor
Malicious Metal4 votesBecause I know how Riven's tick and know when to engage and when to avoid her like the plague. She can't really burst a full shield and a Harvester of Sorrow heal makes trading easy as pie. Levels 1-3 are the only rough ones and starting cloth armor really helps.
I dunno, she's by far my favorite matchup.
