Make his requiem quotes global. Seriously, it's a 170 cd ult, give it some more "UMF".

Double standards really. I'm casually farming Top with the Huekaiser and suddenly I hear "THEY SHALL NOT HAVE YOU!" Think I give a bloody damn what the enemy kalista has to say? Nope, it doesn't impact me in any way so why doesn't Karthus, whose ult affects EVERY enemy, get global quotes?

It would be hella cool and don't tell me it's annoying or unneccessary, heck if Kalista gets it so why doesn't the Deathsinger?

This might be going too far but we should hear the "Lighthbringer" instrumentals if karthus manages to kill us with his ult. I would say deathfiregrasp but that thing is out of the game xD.

I know that his pentakill skin has some extra quotes but you know, they probably would want that as a feature of a skin rather than give i to all the normal karthuses :P

Like that's not really that hard, right? Kalista's VO is global when she ults and it's not even a big map-wide spell. I'm so confused by the decision to make it global ._.

There was a discussion about this previously. The reason Riot is hesitant to give Karthus a global taunt when he ults is because the channel time is so long. 3 seconds is already quite distracting for visuals, but a taunt or scream would make it worse.

That's their opinion not mine, don't shoot the messenger.

I never understood this reason. You could simply have the global taunt be shorter than the channel, and add it on at the start or the end of the channel. But I doubt the person who'd make the decision would ever read this :p

I remember way back before anyone had global quotes riot said something about "we dont want to clutter noise space."

Then they made new Sion saying "you should be aware when Sion could be charging at you from fog of war"

Then they made Kalista...I don't even think they gave a reason for her global passive quotes.

Now we have Kindred coming out with a few more global quotes relating to her hunt passive.

They've said that some of his voice lines are a fair bit longer than the actual ult and it varies from language to language, so it's basically impossible to time it properly and not have Karthus continue talking awkwardly for 5-10 seconds after the ult ended.

IMO the buff he needs is darius' ult treatment. If he kills someone with it, it resets the CD and costs no mana.

Karthus hella deserves global quotes. Requiem is one of the most iconic ultimates in the game, and if we've already given Kalista global quotes (for some reason), there's no point in not allowing Karthus to have them too.

Besides, his Requiem quotes are the BEST.

I'd love for Soraka to have a global quote, but it wouldn't work for the others. Their ults are skill shots,and the global quote would give enemies an advantage in dodging them.
