Planning to buy a hard-to-play champion

As the titles says. I've been doing some digging and LeBlanc, Anivia, Syndra and Zed were the ones that caught my interest the most. But I can't decide which way to go. Which is the hardest and which is the most fun? I enjoy playing champs like Teemo, Twisted Fate, Katarina, Miss Fortune and Gangplank. Which would better suit me?

You really should try Akali. She is like Kata(free elo) she doesnt need fast fingers all you have to do is wait till level 6 and then rock the summoners rift. You should also try Jax or Fiora or Wukong for more fun.

I've really been enjoying azir lately due to his really high skillcap. Also, leblanc can do some crazy things with a skilled player. Personally, I'm saving for orianna considering she has a high skillcap and can do a lot of things to help her team (damage, shields, her ult positioning). I heard syndra got hit hard by the nerf hammer? Just my two cents

Anivia has an incredibly unique playstyle. If you're not willing to put in 30 games to get used to it and get better, don't waste your time.

That said, she's extremely fun, super high impact, and incredibly safe. She doesn't have any hard counter mid matchups, although a good Janna support or Cho'gath top are INCREDIBLY irritating to play against. She is very effective as a counter-assassin. Once you learn your matchups, you can turn into quite a bully in lane post 6 with some kill potential even early. You receive ganks very well and are not horrible as a roamer if you have lane control.

Mana. You need it. These days, don't fool around with morello or grail, they don't give you even close to enough. Go for archangels+rod of ages. Start faerie charm 4 hp 2 mana sight ward, try to get your catalyst on 1st base. Then get tear, finish your rod of ages and go from there. You won't get as much early AP as your lane opponent; don't let it bother you too much. You bases are higher than pretty much anyone out there. As long as you have mana, you'll do as much damage or more than nearly anyone out there.

Based on the champs you say you play, I'd be very surprised if you like anivia, but I could be wrong.

LeBlanc is tons of fun and you can half health anyone at level 2 if used correctly. Not too hard to play to be honest, a bit of a skill cap but the real trick is remembering her combos.

Syndra is loads of fun and is basically the skill version of veigar, but with more manipulation to fights.

Zed is probably one of the funnest champions in the game right now to me, he is super strong against carries as is his job, can split push effectively and has a passive that helps him farm early game. Cons to him as that he has a bit of a high skill floor before you start pubstomping.

A Champion that is pretty new that I enjoy playing even though I'm not too concrete with him right now is Azir . I love how is auto attacks are ranged to an extent and fine placement of Sand Soldiers makes him an awesome Champion. On a scale of 1-5 i would say difficulty is about a 3.

Out of your list I find LeBlanc and Zed the most enjoyable...Zed is more challenging. LeBlanc in my opinion is the more strong of the two at the moment given the impending nerfs to Zed's attack speed and splitpushing power.

Anivia is the hardest champion in the game for me personally. I am absolutely terrible on her, even in ARAM. Zed is not that hard but is effective. Leblanc is hard for a few games until you memorize the combo. Syndra not as hard as people say. Ori is fairly hard, especially because you look like an idiot if you whiff ult.

Of the 4 listed, Zed and LeBlanc are the most difficult to play since they have the highest number of combos they can preform. Syndra is hella easy to play(also buggy after the last nerf). When people say she's "hard" to play, they mean to say she's hard to position with properly in a team fight. Same thing with Anivia. Anivia has one skill shot and a wall. There's really not a lot of combos to perform with her.

Azir is rather difficult as well.

LB is the hardest since you need to stay calm to utilize the image and toss chain proeprly. Not everyone can play her.

Zed needs some practice. You need to be able to estimate exactly how much dmg his R is gonna be. Quite easy once you get used to.

Syndra looks fancy but actually quite easy, you need to aim Q right and that's it.

Antiva is just a crappier version of Syndra, not recommend.

Thanks for the answers. I'll probably be picking up LeBlanc.
