Starting ranked games

Okay hi. I joined league about 5-6 months ago. Reached level 30 about a month ago and played a couple of ranked games. How exactly are your opponents chosen for the game? Today I was against a Vayne with over 1k games in silver and was also silver in S4 meaning she started playing a long time ago. How am I supposed to deal with such opponents? Clearly they are more experienced than you are and perform better.

You are put against opponents that have a similar MMR (Match-maker rating). This number is hidden. You won't see it. Everyone starts out with a 1200 MMR (which is Silver III, I think). The more you win, your MMR goes up. The more you lose, your MMR goes down. Your first ten games are your placement games. The system tries to figure out where you belong. If you lose to these silvers, don't worry, you'll just be put against lower silvers or high bronze next. After your ten games, you're put in a tier. From there, you can climb or sink based on your wins and losses. Basically, every game you play, you'll play against players with a similar MMR to you.

So how do I win games where the enemy has a higher experience than me, like I mentioned above?
