This Balance State Is Kinda Inevitable, Isn't It?
I mean, look at all the rogue element Riot has been introducing over the few years...like, I could be wrong here, but pretty from the release of
, Riot has been absolutely addicted to overloaded kits that have at least one game-breaking and 100% unique mechanic. Items and runes/masteries are also in that same vein, if not worse. Of course, I guess it's noble of Riot to want to make their champions less linear(although it's mostly just for the sake of the back line squishies having it all easier), but is it really THAT hard to imagine that a few out of all these outlandish designs being balancing nightmares? Ambition is great, it motivates self-improvement and all, but for the love of God, Riot, you've been biting off more than you can chew for way too long. If you guys want to keep going, I'm powerless to stop you, but then again, I'm also powerless to stop all the disappointed people from giving up your game.
and then rework him giving him better early ganks, better 1v1 potential, global presence, smaller mana costs, a dash, more tankiness, more lifesteal, better stickiness, another form of CC and they justify all of that by making his ulti a skillshot. And that's just an example, you can look at all these "reworks" and see a pattern - they're all EXTREME buffs to the champion, often getting rid of their weaknesses such as
's early game or
's lack of mobility.
