Rakan spams recall while supporting Xayah?

If their recalls sync up to whoever's is further along, wouldn't this just lead to Rakan spamming it in lane whenever they don't know where the enemy jungler is? And it could lead to combat recalls... we all know that there is a delay that you can successfully recall even after being damaged, so what's to stop Rakan from being a half second away from porting, Xayah flashing into her and pressing B and just disappearing?

Seems like an oversight to me, an oversight that is going to be insanely annoying to not only play against, but listen to (that recall sound effect).

Just a thought.

Except the support has to basically afk the entire duration he's trying to do this and make it blatantly obvious what he's doing.

"Oh lol the idiot support is just standing there we can either go dumpster him or if he's hanging back just trash his adc"

And if a jungler just walking into a lane blows a flash and forces a dual recall is it REALLY a wasted gank?

The answer to the guy above's question of "is it REALLY a wasted gank?" depends on what you do with it. Depending on the ADC and jungler your team has, you can potentially just straight kill their tower with a big enough wave if they do this. If the jungler comes back and kills them because Xayah doesn't have flash, it's also not a wasted gank. Ganking specifically to blow flash and then coming back a minute later is a very viable strategy.

As for the duo backing, because Rakan has an ability that dashes him to an ally and gets more range if the target is Xayah and Xayah is completely immobile, I would expect that Xayah would be the better one to spam back with, but because she has things she needs to do in the lane (farming, harassing) that's just not gonna happen.

If you watched the PBE stream you'd know that you actually have to complete the cast time on your recall no matter how far along the partners recall is, so there is a window to disrupt it, and disrupting either disrupts both. Compared to Thresh lantern which is instant, yeah... not really seeing the big deal.
