Champion.gg - Kindred Jungle Stats, Builds, Runes, Masteries and Counters

Kindred's overwhelming 55% winrate in the jungle ( higher than pre nerf shyvanna and udyr mind you ) even after her consistent nerfs shows that the champion has some inherit design flaws: -a lategame scaling champion that is extremely strong early game. ( This includes very high mobility, high sustain, extremely strong dueling capabilites, strong counterjungling )

  • applies a crapton of map pressure not only in the jungle with her mark on enemy camps, but also on lanes with her mark onn champions. -and the biggest offender of all : Her Ultimate. Not only it doesn't fit the likes of the champion thematically, but is arguably a broken ability that counters hard initiation , lots of champions' kits and adds insane utility on top of a kit that carries an absurd amount of damage during all stages of the game. Not to mention its gold value...

up to this day I thought that rek'sai was the best jungler in the game, because she had almost everything a jungler would want. But now Kindred has definitely taken that place.

Omg can people just let the meta adapt to the mid season mage update before complaining about the already nerfed kindred. There hasn't been that many games for a statisical assumption on what is and isn't preforming well right now between patch 6.8 and 6.9.

I just bothers me kindred's early game got nerfed and then we have broken ass mages like veigar and brand rampant, unbalanced dragons, and then everybody just goes back to kindred like this patch never happened.

Granted kindred is the bane of my existance and I wouldn't mind the champ being gutted but it amazes me how this is the primary issue right now in 6.9.. I'm still figuring out what to itemize on anything right now.

Maybe cause kindred is the anti assasin ,burst mage champ?

To be fair the Invitationals have been Nidalee vs Kindred most of it (and the rare Graves), so yeah, there may be a problem.

Kindred may not be OP, but they are probably being Lee 2.0 and crowding out junglers with any less ''perfect'' jungler characteristics, whatever it be earlygame pressure, scaling, clearing time, ganking or counterganking.

OP is right in one thing: her map pressure is a bit over the top with the constant pressure of her ''clear X camp or Kindred becomes too powerful!!!'' passive, on top of the lack of early/midgame vision. It generates a ''lose or lose'' over his oponent in the case they dont have the clear speeds, safety and/or mobility to keep with Kindred. They either do their normal jungler duties (on top of Kindred's efficient counterjungling looming over them), or play a constant game of RNG whack-a-mole where they try to keep Kindred starved of victims that they probably cant keep up.

The biggest problem is that Kindred only gains from this, while the other jungler doesnt really win anything they dont win from killing a normal camp. And if use a jungler with less that stellar clear times, the RNG minigame will be hell.

Play Kindred's annoying minigame? You lose global presence and Kindred is free to gank while you try to clear the marked camps, unless you are a cleaning jungler god.

Ignore the game? Kindred becomes a beast, and their efficient camp clearing makes it so they still get opportunities to gank or countergank.

Literally the only moment where Kindred doesnt benefit from her global presence passive is when the RNG marks Baron or Dragon: then you can work for global presence so Kindred cant grab the mark's bonus. Sometimes you can even delay it just to have a breather pause of not having to do the RNG-a-mole.

I don't believe its kindred's control of the map being an issue (RekSai Skarner Poppy Nidaleeitem 3711 ).

The only issue I have with kindred, is how "guaranteed" a kindred achieves what it wants. There are many early game junglers like elise or nidalee, but when they gank it isn't "gg no escape" as you can dodge abilities, but with kindred it's nearly impossible to kite and get away, and at level 6 even towers don't become safe, but that's a lot of champs right now. Kindred is just one of those champs where if you get caught, you get caught and won't get away with the E slow and constant dashing.

Kindred was nerfed heavily with her clear speed, and early game chase potential with cooldowns on their Q, we don't know if we can consider them broken right now and it's too soon for us to expect a winrate drop from their previously high win/r.

Well I never said that kindred " is the primary issue" But I do believe that 55% winrate and her popularity +banrate and current kit is something that needs to be definitely looked at.

Her kit got nerfed. Bloodrazer needs to be slightly nerfed, it just makes her slightly too strong.

Ironically, on the PBE right now they just buffed bloodrazor's attack speed to 50% from 40%.

i have yet to see a decent kindred in any of my games, so i dont know what this high winrate is from

late game champion that is extremely strong early game....tristana?

And jinx i reckon. BUT jinx actually has a big trade off. No mobility ( well that is conditional, let's say no escapes to be clear) in other words she is very fragile. then you look at vayne who has both generic mobility and escapes but weak early game.

But tristana seems to have everything really. I guess you can argue that her lategame is strong but much weaker when compared to jinx's and vayne's lategame.

No mobility

stop spreading this bullshit. she has a significant movement speed boost on her passive. that ms boost is crazy.

and as weve learned, ms boosts are actually much more valuable on adc with long range than on melee champions. this goes for jhinn aswell as jinx.

and its not like her passive is difficult to trigger. all she needs is some random assist off her rocket aoe.

the might not have the strongest mobility in the game, but its definitely strong enough to call her mobile.

dude I said : CONDITIONAL and then I rephrased it to no escapes . Jeesus yu get my point man. If you jump her she has nothing .

  1. pre 6.9 kindreds win rate always dropped the longer the game went, although the marks scale infinitely they don't really scale hard the same way that a nasus or veigar would

  2. kindred's 6.9 win rate has dropped down to generally don't pick this champ tier.
