I thought Riot promotes healthy champion design, so why does she exist as she does?

I feel like people forget that bard as basically unlimited mana and can just heal his adc up to full with shrines put down before trades while raka has mana problems until she buys items and you focus her first

I like soraka cause you can go in front of the enemy and try to dodge skill shots all game while hitting your Q for health regeneration.

So it's not all just "heal, heal, heal" and trying to dodge skill shots all game is fun..

Maybe you are thinking - " you can only do this in low elo, in high elo you will get punished, and you will have to play the heal, heal, heal" Scarra (aka mingLee) playing soraka with ignite while maxing Q I think so you can go little ago on her

Dont worry. She will grow in you.

Tbh though she easily can be used in higher elos because of the global heal..... Which messes up ganks and all ins quite often, turning the tides in the ally favor. What she lacks in flat out hard CC she makes up for in an AOE silence, an AOE slow, and massive heals that she can spam in the back after Redemption, and Warmogs, with Mikeals Crucible and Ardent Sensor, Gold coin, and whatever else you want.... Perhaps a Rylais.

Rylai's by itself is pretty gold-inefficient now; you buy it if you really, really need the slow for something. Starcall's slow is already a longer duration and greater potency than Rylai's, so she'd only be getting value in it on Equinox — which you'd want to try to sync with Starcall or ally disables anyways, most of the time.

If anything, I'd go with Liandry's if I'm that desperate for AP and HP off a single item. Gives you some pretty decent health shred considering how low Starcall's cooldown is.
