It just feels so useless, you have to be so close to lets say gank bot, to even use it, so close you're in the tri bush. Why not just walk? Outta all the games i've played with ryze, and seen ryze players, his ult just seems useless, especially when he ults, the camera goes wonky and drags you to it. Thoughts?
VoidStaresBack1 votesHis ult, especially at it's second level, can be incredibly powerful, but it requires proper timing and team coordination to not just derp straight into an enemy kill zone or throw a couple squishies into a bad spot. At its first level, it's really just useful for escaping ganks, to my understanding, because its short range drastically limits its utility in roaming.
Take this with a grain of salt, I don't play Ryze myself, but from reading other Ryze discussions that's what I've gleaned.
