Do people play full AP ekko?

or tanky/AP ekko. my build is usually. since i like to jungle with ekko. sometimes i get warmogs. or ninja tabis.

i find it really good when i tried ap ekko it wasn't bad it just wasnt as good as ekko is usually go in up close mele and i find i get melted down too quick as ap. with devoure his passives work really well and i do a lot of damage even being this tanky. sometimes i go a lil tankier if the team just needs a pure tank. but this is what i run.

what is your build?

i see he has a low winrate. i play only normals so i guess maybe why am having this much success with him but i seem to put a lot of damage despite being this tanky.

Doesn't tank ekko do more damage than ap ekko? You live longer = more 3-hit procs = more damage. I don't think I've seen a full AP Ekko outside of the first couple days of release.

i played full ap ekko mid a lot before his first big nerf but since then he's been better as ad

with devoure. its a 2 hit proc. and the other passive procs twice so you will murder anyone below 30% health stupidly quick.

well, with his passive and devourer combined he does a ton of damage with his autoattacks. you really dont need to build a ton of damage. that's what bot and mid are for.

I still play ap ekko I just rush road first, though I haven't tried it these days in these shorter games

I play him AP, with 45% CDR.

My build is Rod of Ages (Q spam for waveclear and harass, many people don't build it but its a personal preference, also really gold efficient for its stats, and his high base damage means he still can keep up in damage even if he only builds a catalyst), morellos, lichbane, lucidity boots, void staff, hourglass. Then I sell the RoA late game for deathcap, and if the enemy builds no MR I buy ludens instead of void. Sometimes I'll go abyssal against heavy magic dealers rather than rushing the 40% CDR.

I see a lot of people going devourer, but I'm not really a fan of it. I played tank ekko quite a bit before, and my build was basically Cinderhulk, iceborn gauntlet, frozen heart, spirit visage, lucidity boots, and locket. If i snowballed I would buy ROA on him right after cinderhulk.
