Master Yi The OP.

First of all. am not going to say Master Yi is OP but i will let you explain it to me. because y'all probably now more than me am new to this game. here is what i have to say.

why does master yi become practically impossible to kill . twice/three times or more a day I deal with a master yi. max level 18. same as our team and we kill their entire team. include the heavy tanks and master yi is just impossible to kill. its probably because hes impossible to put the mouse on when he does all his abilities and attacks in between,

I don't get what am supposed to do. am the same level as him with the same farm. am Yasuo with a good build. bloodthirster last whister statik shivv and infinity edge and the boots. and i cant land a hit on him if ever. he goes and 1v5 the entire team and wins with full health. The Entire team. and then can destroy the turrets all by himself and win. I mean for real. Yasuo has some sick passives. but he has caveats. his ultimate and hes extremely squishy. but master Yi is just pure damage and speed going around the place with no limit. it really is impossible or near impossible to stop him I mean i cant see him attacking me and hes a melee guy.

what do i do. We're talking about end game chaos here.

Master Yi is an irritating champ to deal with that I believe should have been deleted from the game long ago. It doesn't help that most of the people who consistently play him seem to be immensely full of themselves and get toxic over the littlest, most pointless stuff.

one of my builds i had like an extra 1k health and I was still dying instantly to yi. I have 100% critical strike and I can't kill someone that fast. and my critical strike is 250% because of the edge. and the damage is upwards of 700 a hit. i still cant do it.

Yi doesn't build heavy crit anymore, more on-hit now. However yi isn't op at all. Simple CC, counter jungle and follow up kills yi easily, anyone who thinks yi is op just didn't have a good team or understanding of how to stop him.

idk if that would work if hes using life steal and prob his magic protection will get most of that

Yeah thornmail doesn't work well anymore because if he builds item 3930 item 3153 like most Yi's do now, he does more true damage and magic damage than physical. Sure he autos a lot, but you'll get shredded for spending 2300 gold on just armor when he does very mixed damage and a lot of it is on hit which isn't refleted.

Bork does physical, and the Tmail is more about making the lifesteal he gets moot. If he can't gain life off of you, and a good chunk of his damage is negated due to having armor, the playing field is much more even.

I'm pretty sure skirmishers is better on yi.

Bork's current hp damage is on hit so it doesn't get reflected. His actual auto damage is low, since it is mostly the 75 on hit from sated (well 50 then 100 so averaging 75), the 12% current hp from bork (again 8% then 16 averaging 12), and his true damage from e. When I play tankyish champs my death recap adds up to more true and magical damage than physical. Most yi dont' really depend that much on lifesteal they often build off tanky after those two items and therefore have MR to deal with thornmail anyway.

Thornmail also reduces the damage on Bork, that's why I brought it up, not because he reflects the damage, but because it reduces most on hit damage from yi, and lowers his AA damage while returning some damage.

That's not a relevant statistic. That's how much damage he deals overall, not to champions with armor. Most of that is to jungle monsters/lane minions, or squishies who don't usually build thornmail. Don't believe me? Check your death recap while playing a tank after getting killed by a yi with those two items.

hes very strong at lower mmr, but at high silver is when he doesnt do so good. when people learn how to cc properly, yi becomes a non issue

how can I CC with yasuo. with the triple 1 and tornado. what are the chances i could possibly get 3 qs before i die. or lets say i didnt die. that q is the hardest thing to land. none the less hes hard to put the mouse on again. they need to make him a little more visible

you can Q off of the minions first, then send the tornado his way. But at the end of the day, Yasuo is still a melee carry/assassin with little utility. If he outdamages you by having more gold than you, trying to outdamage someone who outdamages you won't work without outside help. If you are in lane, try to focus on farm and hope to beat him past the lane phase

Master yi is not "impossible to kill". The dude builds little defense. All Yi can do is kill you before you kill him. The only thing he has to protect himself is a self-rooting heal which reduces damage. But master yi needs get on top of you and get his autos off, if he can't do that he has no way to apply damage.

Well MasterYi 's main counter play is that his early ganks are kind of terrible, so if you have an aggresive early jungler like LeeSin or Elise they can get a big advantage for your team before Yi even leaves the jungle. If you are picking a champion after him, try to pick someone with targeted lockdown. Hard cc cancels his W (the heal) and leaves him highly vunerable to death. If you have skillshot cc you have to wait for him to use alpha strike to cast it. It really is impossible to deal with his ability to clean up fights if you are all low, so don't stick around if you have low ppl if Yi is alive.

Yi is easy pick rammus to counter jungle. And in team fights have the rammus with thornmail. Press E taunt him then we then r then q before he runs away while everyone else on your team focuses everyone else.
