Can somebody explain the reason behind replacing laser turrets with bullet firing ones?

I really don't understand this decision. Doesn't this make the game quite snowbally?

Because they weren't making a big difference in dives anyways (the damage was just spread out) and it was lowering the performance of certain machines.
Trade-off wasn't good enough, so they removed them.

I think it makes turret diving bases easier. I don't know why that's a good thing.

Did this happen recently without me knowing? You mean the inhibitor towers dont shoot lasers anymore?

All turrets shoot bullets the same way. No lasers

D: I did not realize that.... I never really liked lasers that much anyways tho...

They were annoying to last hit under, doing chunks of damage rather than a continuous stream. Good riddance.
