Bad teammates are given in every single promo series and it is ridiculous.

Any time i am in my promos i get complete garbage teams that feed and are unable to communicate. Every single promo series i get these players. I had to get to my promos to Silver fucking 2 3 times whoch is a joke in itself seeing how bad players are at this elo. Even when i finally managed to win i still had to carry players that started 0/4 and 1/5. Getting to promos is really easy but in those promotional games you get the worst of the shit that elo has to offer.

And this is not only a thing for me. I've played a promo game with one of my friends recently and had been spectating his promos. He gets the exact same shit. Teammates that feed their ass off. There is just no way that it is pure luck that we get terrible teammates a few times in ranked but when it's promos everyone that is not your premade is likely gonna be absolutely useless.

How is this a fair way to balance things? "Got to your promos easily? Gaining LP with winning streaks? That must mean you are better than the elo that you are currently! Here are these feeders so you can't actualy advance in rank and have to suffer alittle more!"

If you want promos to be harder to beat give me harder opponents. Not worse teammates. I can beat better opponents than usual or lose to them and still feel like it was a fair and fun game. I can't do shit about retards on my team and the frustration this system gives me though.

These feels tho. Go on a 10 win streak. Lose every promo match. Win until promos, lose again. Promo matches tend to have the worst players I've ever seen in my life. It is incredibly frustrating.

And it's not about 'getting good' either, its about having teammates that go 0/6 in the first 10 minutes of the game.

It might but I still stand by what I said. A competitive game should not be set up the way League is because the devs are too stupid to understand how much toxicity it promotes. All so they can pad their wallets.

Same thing happened to me. I got to my s2 promos with ease, the first two games I play in promos I lose both. Why? In the first game we lost 2-17, and those 2 kills were mine. We had a master yi main (lvl7) who went 0/7 and flamed everyone.

In the second game I was 4/5/4, while my Ezreal jg was 5/7/2, he was kinda good but now comes the problem. 1/12 corki 3/9 jinx 1/11 lulu

I don't understand this MM, and this is not the first time this happened.

This game is tragic. Really. Every single fucking promotion goes to shit. Teammates afk, feeding (giving up), flaming already in the champion select. Don't know why I even bother to keep playing lol.

It's not any better in plat. I'm on my 3rd series to plat 4, and you don't get a free win for making it back above gold. I skipped 2 divisions in gold and had a 62% win rate. This promo series is single-handedly killing my win rate and MMR.

100% agree with you. Every single promo game it amazes me how immensely the quality of my teammates drops. To the point where the difference between a "normal" game and a promo game feels like how the difference should be between silver and platinum. Either they're trolling or they actually dont know how to play, build or communicate.

Give climbing teammates to motivate eachother and make the enemies more challanging, period. It isnt that hard.

yall think thats bad im in my 10th gold promos and every game i just get shit shit teamates everytime like why? i try so hard i go on a 10 win streak then boom trash a jungler who runs down mid then afks, top laner who says in lobby ima feed, dies 1 time afks

Well it happens to everyone and when there are more bad gamers today then good ones the odds are it's going to happen a lot. It's very unfortunate but RIOT is to blame for not putting an incentive to get better and start punishing those that refuse to improve in this type of game. Really don't care what people think but if you can't improve then you need to play another game and stop ruining the experience for those that choose to improve.

Well now in one of my games I got a VI who wintraded, didn't pick smite and was lvl 2 at 8 minutes. Then I get a Jhin who ints my last promo game 2W 2L and runs it down mid from min: 15:00 till like 20:00 4 times and was afk too. My team also decided to fight 1vs3 1vs4 1vs5 3vs5 for no reason, and went from 21:9 to 28:37. Nice :)

that system sucks. its to prevent smurfs but it isnt doing its job right. i lost 2 games because of afks that left 1 second after game started so guess what? no remake avaiable!!! my mmr goes from playing with low plat players to playing with gold 4s. i have to carry every game to win unless i have a premade.

Same, lost promos to gold 4 because my "brand support" went 0/7 and adc 2/10, then next game when i queued as supp my mid went 3/11, bb promos just cause of matchmaking system...my winrate is 48 fcking percent now...I just quit mid-game right now because team scores were 3 to 11... I have played TOO MANY games to know it's onesided unwinnable game again so whatever...

Last game of Promos... Mid Lane Syndra fed 2 early kill to Kat... "Syndra, sit under the turret, don't even farm, just STOP feeding Kat. Syndra proceeds to feed 5 more kills to Kat in a row.... smh….

I just got of a game where I started 1/1 (as in win/lose) then riot decided to give me an afk botlane and i obvously lost (u try 3v5 when the enemy has a farm-fed caitlyn) then I won untill promos and got 1/1 again, then for no reason riot thought: hey he's 1/1 again why not give him an adc thats 0/15 -_- and now im about to give a 3rd attempt at the same promos which is highly unnessesairy

Just encountered this... again. There has to be some kind of algorithm in matchmaking that fucks up a series with bad teammates. I had won 7 or 8 games to get into my plat series and then was greeted with an AFK, Ivern mid, and a match where almost every laner countered themselves in champ select and lost lane by 5 kills. I then go on and win three more games in a row to get BACK to series, and it goes AFK, AFK, ADC who feeds 9 kills.

Someone please tell me how I can (for the most part) have teammates that follow summoner's code and are around the same ELO as I am in my daily ranked games, but then get to series and am met with toxic kids who flame and feed until we ff at 25 minutes. Does riot give you summoners with negative honor ratings in series? Do they purposely give you summoners with AFK histories in order to gatekeep? What is actually going on here, this has been a trend for years.

In the last of my Gold 1 to Plat 5 promo just a couple hours ago, my bot lane decided it'd be fun to get a combined score of 13-2-15 in a 21 minute game. The nerve!

i know this is 2 years old but i got a premade of 2 below 40% winrate players twice in a row in ranked(one banned my support champs and told me to fck myself and that he hopes my mother gets hiv and ebola because i play a no brain role like support) so im staring at a 30 minute countdown because i didnt want to play with below 40% wr players in ranked

Been gold previous season. I have gold mmr, been playing with high gold players and some plats in my silver 2 rank, and when i reach my promos I get silver 4 players who feed their asses off? I really don't understand it. :P
