I personally think that having oppressive laner champion is needed in League, Aka Lane Bullies

Gnar Teemo Heimerdinger LeblancIllaoi etc.

If NasusVeigar or any hyper scaling champions could free farm without any kind of disturbance they would probably be the strongest champions in league. Lane Bullies are primary champions who have a very strong early game and excel at pushing you out of lane or denying you farms. If every hyper scaling champions becomes unmovable and can do as they please then this game doesn't have any strategic picks. Of course the lane bullies aren't invincible since they all fall off late game. But what I've notice from the balance team that they buff alot of quality of life upgrade like Runes that denies damage, item 2033 item 1054item 3211 and many more. I think to an extend a champion should itemize against bullies but at the same it is still a team game, meaning that you need your jungler to win lane. Now that Jungle pressure is weak, we will see alot more lane bullies.

i know that feel so so hard.

You cant even rely on your late game scaling teammates cause they might decide not to build a single magic resist item(or ap) as a jax vs 4 ap champions and just get insta bursted before they can do anything [-End Rant-]

It's the same case where I had a aram game against a bunch of ad(c) champs. They almost won at 15 mins until Cassiopeia, Vayne and Me as Urgot built Thornmail and destroyed them. Lol never guaranteed.

I don't understand why Caitlyn got nerfed soo hard, She is a Lane Bully with Safe Long Range, the only Lane bully adc is Draven, and Lucian and they are all short ranged champions. Caitlyn was different because she doesn't all in champions rather than that she cripple their movement with traps and punish her enemies for stepping on them.

she was such a stron g lane bully to the point of it being overly obnoxious, but she also had good lategame presence BECAUSE her range, slows, trap damage, etc

I wouldn't really put teemo as a lane bully compared to the rest. His reliance on mushrooms compared to how there's no cooldown now for buying the scanning trinket he loses a lot of pressure, but atleast they aren't disabled like they were earlier to where his win rate went so low nobody touched him with a pole.

it's unfortunately not that simple. nasus actually has a strong laning phase, he only seems weak because he needs(wants) to use his q on stacks rather than dueling. however there are builds (if anyone is familiar with quasus) that make him a monster early harasser and duelist. hell normal nasus isn't even strong lategame, his big power is midgame and split pushing towers down with pressure before the enemy team gets significant waveclear to push him back out.

Lane bully: Renekton You can still do something if he makes a mistake. But generally he has the advantage and makes the laning phase tough for you if he's played well.

Oppressive laner: Jayce There's nothing you can fucking do.

I wouldn't really consider Teemo a lane bully. The rest maybe, Leblanc could certainly be a lane bully but she does scale as well. She's an assassin, all assassins are bullies to an extent.

Heimerdinger can be a lane bully, but he's honestly pretty easy to work around generally because he's so predictable. I mean if he counterpicks you it's pretty much over but otherwise you can do fairly well against him without worry.
