Remove Oracles Elixir from ARAM.

I would really like to pay 300g to completely remove a key element of my opponents kit, but sadly I can't. Why can others do the same to me?

It's ARAM so who really gives a fuck, but its pretty boring randoming Shaco and seeing your enemy get oracles. Might aswell just sit on platform

It would be fine if the item was like a sweeper, rather than a permanent invisible power, without counterplay. You could impliment another item that you consume and when you would be detected you have 3-4 seconds of delayed visibility to balance it out. It just makes randoming an invisibility based champ un-fun, and ARAM is supposed to be about fun.

EDIT: Or make it trap only

So counterplay against stealth champs isn't allowed eh?

Look, I know it sucks that some champions get their kit wrecked by certain items, stealth champion aren't the only victim here, like health regen champs and the grievous wounds debuff. But its not just bad for you, how do you think the people who have to get those items feel about this? They have to waste 300 gold multiple times every match just so they can deal with your stealth bullshit, it sets them behind in their build vs your team.

Stealth is just weird in this game, instead of complaining about it try coming up with ideas for riot on how to fix counter play against stealth (especially for traps) without having to waist gold. That will make these things more healthy in general.

Counterplay is not paying 300g to remove the mechanic. Counterplay would be activating it. Healthy counterplay has counterplay.

Also, "waste" 300g? AFK for 30 seconds on platform and you have it.

I agree entirely though that traps would be an issue without oracles, but that doesn't mean it should affect champs as well.

There was a reason it was removed the Summoner's Rift.

I'd be down to remove it from tiny maps, like ARAM. TT is annoying AF with Teemo shrooms, so I would petition to have it remain there. However, if they take it off the little map that ARAM is, i propose we get it for SR. >:) Such a big map and only a tiny little sweeper for a small portion of it...

I 100% agree. Oracle's is so cheap, and it fully eliminates a handful of champions' ability to utilize their kits. It's ridiculous. It would make sense to have it in SR where people choose their champs, but not in aram. Nothing like being dealt a stealth champ and being useless because the other team's tank first items oracle's and refreshes it the rest of the game.

Morellonomicon and other such items only debilitate your champ for a few seconds. Oracle's effectively ruins the entire game for stealth guys. You can't just alter your build to compensate for having your abilities removed from your kit. You can't just "be better" and play to your fullest potential sans 2 abilities.

I'm not saying that there shouldn't be SOME counter to stealth. Bring back the sweeper, and remove its passive. Just make the active last longer. Working it into an actual item makes sense. It has other attributes that aid you while the active is on cd.

Those that think it's balanced simply because it costs gold and needs to be continually bought are stretching to justify a broken potion because they don't like to play against Teemo. The phrase "get good" comes to mind. Folks cry about Teemo being op in aram without oracle's, but what about Sona? Or Vel'koz? Or Xerath? Or Jayce? Can I have an item that only costs 300g, lasts 20% of the match, and removes one or two of their abilities too?

I made a post about this a little while ago and everyone hated it, and even went as far to say I was stupid to suggest ruining it. I just queued up into an aram game as teemo and as soon as everyone hit 6 once they died I saw each one come back with new items and oh wait oracles elixir. My r and passive were basically useless at that point. I as a teemo main was still able to do damage, but my map control was completely gone, and that is what made us lose. Teemo is a very map control heavy champion that thrives from stealth. In summoners rift it is not bad having a trinket to have 10 seconds to avoid annoying shrooms, but in aram having 3 minutes to do the same thing is so unfair. Any champion with a trap or stealth mechanics are worth about half of what they would be in summoners rift. No matter how good of a main you are at any champion that uses traps or stealth, you still cannot carry an aram game when all 5 enemy champs have oracles. Also, I don't think teemo should be banned because the only problem with him is that his ult is annoying to play against. Well what about morgana's q stun time, or ahri's charm, or countless other annoying things to have to play against. I think that people should stop complaining about how teemo, or shaco, or whoever, is annoying or op, and just get rid of the only item that makes those stealth and trap champions unplayable.

then remove teem from aram

A good teemo is still extremely effective even if the enemy buys oracles. Oracle should only be removed after Teemo is removed. He's cancer on that map. Teemo controls the map way too damn well.

Hint: Throw your shroom into the minion wave and throw them behind you as you advance so you have a safe retreat.
