after veigar casts event horizon, veigar should be able to immediately finish the ring by "reactivating" E, but the stun will be of a lesser duration if the ring doesn't get the full delay.

this would grant veigar immediate protection, however it wouldn't grant him enough time to land his full combo freely.

Random idea : If you reactivate it early, it acts as a circular Azir wall : no stun, but you can't walk out and dash through are stopped (though no knockup). Basically the same cage except it doesn't stun on the edge.
