Riot need to add more diversity to items.

Right now, Items are really exclusive to AP, AD, and Damage. I'm a Diana main, There aren't that many items that synergise with diana's kit, and im sure others can relate. We need More AS/AP Items, Defensive AP Items like ROA and Zhonyas, etc. It's not that there aren't many right now, but most AP items revolve around burst kits like Lux and Ahri. There really needs to be more diversity. "But They will be abused by Ranged Mids!!!" = Make them melee only, easy solution. Here are a few suggestions:

Item Suggestion #1 - 40% Attack Speed, 50 AP, 20 Armor. Passive UNIQUE - Your Third Basic Attack against a champion applies a small shield and empowers your next Auto Attack (20 Second Cooldown)

Item Suggestion #2 - 60 Ability Power, 200HP. Passive UNIQUE - Gains 5 Armor Every minute, Passive Stops at 25 Armor

Item Suggestion #3 - 60 Abiliy Power, 20% Attack Speed, 200HP - Passive UNIQUE: Your Shields are 10% Stronger. Passive UNIQUE - Attacking a Champion lowers your ability cooldowns by 3 seconds (40 Second Cooldown) /// MELEE ONLY

Item Suggesion #4 - 70 Ability Power, 200 HP, 20% Attack Speed - Passive UNIQUE: Gains a 40AP(+10% AP) Shield for every enemy CC'D AND lowers their MR /// MELEE ONLY
