People aren't psychic.

Tl;DR : Talk to your team, don't assume they know what's best.

The problem with solo-queue, and not playing with friends, is that you're matched up with 4 other strangers who each have their own play styles and thoughts. A lot of times, one person expects someone to do something, but the other person thinks it's a bad idea.

Example: Stealing dragon with someone who has a global ulti. You know the enemy team is doing drag, but you have no wards on it, and no estimation as to when they started, how many people are there, their DPS, or even if the enemy jungler has smite. However, your jungler somehow estimates all this information, but doesn't say anything. They expect you to ult, but they don't tell you anything. On the other hand, you clearly see someone recalling toplane with their health in executable range. Do you ult the person toplane, or do you take a wild stab at dragon, and hope for the best?

Results: If you ult the person toplane, you will guaranteed get another kill. If you take a wild stab at dragon, you'll have anywhere between a 10-67% chance of actually stealing it. 10-67% is just a number I pulled out of my bum, so don't take that too seriously.

So, what do you do? What would you choose? If your jungler shared the information he/she has estimated, your chances of stealing dragon would've improved significantly. They don't even have to lay out data or specifics, a simple "ult drag" would've sufficed. But by staying quiet, and assuming that you would ult drag (which you may or may not always ult for), they forfeit an almost guaranteed steal. If you miss regardless though, you've always got an estimated dragon timer while watching that toplaner recall.

While the person with the global ult isn't entirely faultless, most of the blame should go to the person who had that information (which would've benefited the entire team), yet decided not to share, or even give a small suggestion of ulting drag. There's a chat function in game for a reason, while it is slow and a bit clunky at times, it's much better than not using it at all.

If you made it down here while reading, you're awesome! Thanks for reading, and if you've got anything to say, slanders, insults about my mother or my skill, or that I'm just a low ELO Bronzie, then feel free to post. Also, the picture was funny, so I put it in there.
