Crit Chance?
So, people are saying that crit chance is bad, and that having luck based damage (Tryndamere for example) is actually bad. Which makes sense. For people without RNGesus like me, you'll probably end up never critting an important enemy and crit blue buff 3 times in a row. Idk, that's how my luck works.
Then I read that Ashe is coming back into competitive play, and one of her benefits that caused that, was more predictable damage with her increased damage per crit chance passive.
So, why don't we just do that with the rest of the ADCs? Instead of removing crit chance completely, we could factor it into different passive damage for different characters. Such as, more bursty AA reliant champions would have a lower crit increased damage, (Draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaven), than spell reliant champions. Like Graves. Reason being, the crit chance shouldn't factor into more damage for spells, it should factor into your auto attacks. Therefore, AA reliant champions having a higher increased damage would eventually overpower and spell reliant champions. Afterall, it doesn't take skill to land an auto attack. Also, spell reliant champions would have a higher crit increased damage so they can consistently crank out damage while their spells are on cooldown.
Does anyone agree with this? If this is a horrible idea, please tell me why. I'm not the greatest mechanic designer of all time, and I'd love to hear other people's opinions on this matter.
