I am kinda confused atm because i remembered reading that flex q and solo were separate q's for the next season so why is there only flex q during the preseason right now? Then i read that playing ranked in the preseason can help your placement next season but theres no solo q -_- I need some clarification please and thank you.
there will be another reset I think. But it is a chance to make great gains... or losses
flex has nothing to do with solo/duo
solo comes out on Nov. 14th (it was in patch notes)

You can play some ladder calibration games for Flex SR/TT during preseason, but there will be a soft ranked reset at the start of the season. That said, games played during the preseason will have some impact on where you place at the start of the season.
No. Solo/Duo, Ranked Flex 5s, Ranked Flex 3s are all separate of each other. Ranked Flex 3s does look at your current Solo/Duo MMR though.
Solo/Duo is also set to return in the next week, its in the patch notes.
