Is plat considered low elo or high elo ? Mid elo ???

Personally I think platinum is still considered low elo because, the only difference between us and silvers is a huge skill gap in mechanics. Other than that, things like decision making and knowing how to use an advantage to the fullest are very lacking. Often times plats still kinda play like silvers tbh and as a result I categorized them as a part of low elo. Diamond and above is high imo

To be honest, as an unranked scrub, I see it like this.

Low Elo-- Bronze, Silver Mid Elo: Gold, Plat High Elo: Diamond +

There is obviously a mid elo and for Plat, the closest to Diamond would be a bit saddening to be considered low elo. Especially since you could have just had a few bad games from going Diamond.

I think gold and below are low-elo, and plat and above are called high-elo.

The fact that you had to put "huge" as a description in the mechanics sentence suggests the complete opposite of what you're trying to say.

Low elo- bronze mid-Silver gold+-high You guys have to remember 90% of players are bronze/silver. Just putting it all in proportion.

Bjergsen referred to his diamond (4?) smurf as low elo so I guess it's opinionated. Just because you're diamond, master, challenger etc doesn't mean you're good at the game. You could've just been really amazing at one or two champions.

It depends on how you want to split it, but I'd say ~77.5% (bronze and silver) -> ~22.5% (gold, plat, diamond) -> ~0.25% (master, challenger) is the way to go. Also, you can split mid elo into bottom, average and top tiers like that.
