Useless? Is that why he got played in LCS this season and in the playoffs? Not to mention, pretty much all the games with Lee on the team won.

What patch was that?

I wouldnt be surprised that pros dont know the indirect nerf he received

His power level got reduced so much

I only hate Lee Sin players who are very bad at the champion but still consider him a comfort pick and pick him in ranked anyway. Like, if you're not actually wining games with the champion despite how many you play, you probably shouldn't pick him in ranked...

Omg, the health back from that wasn't that big. Only early game...

Blatant shitpost!

Considering that change occured FOREVER ago.

It's true he isn't tier 1 anymore. He's in the ballanced tier 2 right now. A good Lee Sin player will still carry games. Even an average Lee Sin can do some great things. Just don't expect an broken champion on your first 10 games with him.

Lee Sin is a high skillcap champion. It's similar as Thresh or Bard in the support role, Nidalee Kindred in the jungle, Gangplank Ryze in the toplane, Ezreal Vayne in the botlane, etc... Their are some champions that have a high skillcap and their performance just highly depends on the amount of games you played with them.

If Lee Sin isn't working for you. It will probaly because you didn't master him in a way that allows you to get 100% out of his kit. I played a lot of thresh back in the old days so I use this as an example:

  • Flay (E) can be used to setup an easy (Q), aftering mastering E in normal cast you can smartcast it to be able to pull targets you wouldn't be able to get with the delay. You can even combine this with Flash. When knowning the pull range and distance you can even use it in combination with your R you pull them in the ult range.
  • Flay (E), not sure it still works but it was possible originally to pull and push enemies over small walls/edges
  • Flay (E), not sure this is an bug but when you flay the enemy inside a bush it sometimes will not reveal yourself until you entire in basic attack formation.
  • Your Q doesn't have an cast animation. This means the enemy can't see the direction your Q is going.
  • Thresh basic attacks feel like they attack slower and it feels like he sometimes get revealed later in bushes (might just be animation wise)
  • Your Q has a pullback that I believe happends on a fixed location. You can move between them to get closer to your target for another basic attack or an good edge for your E or R.
  • You can supprise enemies by using Q > Flash > W > Q for a long range enage with one of your allies. Even 2 walls can't stop you.
  • You can extend the cast range of your W when using it on thick walls
  • You can use Q on monsters to make your escape.
  • You can use your Q & W for a sneaky dragon , herald or baron
  • When you known the exact range of your W you can use it to use it faster with smartcast making it possible to safe even more champions with it.
  • Your allies can dash and teleport to your W
  • When allies click on your latern they perform a small dash that works over small walls.
  • Their is a ~ button that allows allies to click on it even when it's hovered by enemies.
  • Etc...

Their are just so many things that makes a champion a champion. It's possible you will never be able to master Lee Sin to a level he feels good enouge for you. You just can't master all champion to lcs level. And even their their are players that can improve on a certain champion. Never expect you will become as good as Frogen Anivia, Annie Bot Annie or Fakers Viktor.

He is nowhere near tier 2. Do you know what good lee sin means in diamond. It literaly means the lee sin snowballs Early game so hard and makes no mediocore kick in mid game else you ll lose

Got 300 games on lee sin and had 56% winrate with him in ranked last season and season before probably to

It does have cast animation but you dont have to face the direction where you throw it..

What does the thresh have to do with anything. I know all this tricks you can also block people with w ..

  • Etc...

I dont care about annie but I can play Viktor like I mastered him and I am close to mastering anivia ?

As you said lee sin is highskillcap . If lee sin is not viable pick in diamond then he will also be non viable in lower elo hence he could use some buffs after that indirect nerf in the meantime I am just rising the awareness

Lee sin is meh atm

The reason why he's not picked in Diamond is that their are just stronger jungle options that would place yourself in a disadvantage when on that level. Like you mentioned Lee Sin heavy relies on the early game to get a snowball running. The longer the game goes he depends so hard on his teammates and possible insect plays.

He's a really tricky champion to buff and personally I would rather wait till the assasin class update than to give him some random buff that sure will make him broken after ballancing the god/tier 1 junglers.

don't care how meta relevant he is, i don't want someone with that high MS and mobility on the enemy team. he can stay banned for all i care
