I bet that the same arrogant people who wanted shorter games are regreting it now

I am done playing summoner rift if the snowball stays

Honestly This is the worst patch I experienced

AND I EXPERIENCED every single FA king preaseason (Except beta) I was there when Jax and trynda could 1vs3 you in Twisted treeline fountain

I saw everything ..

Season 5 was most SNOWBALLY SEASON

I was actually hoping for reduced snowball since I remember so many comebacks and close games in season 4

But guess what Riot decided to increase the snowball X5 TIMES

and why?

Because of you people Stupid Morons (Much insult) whining that you want a shorter games

WELL suffer now

I ll just play dominion since it curently outclasses summoner rift

Dominion is never over until your nexus health hits zero.

I can confirm this.

What are you talking about?

Who doesn't enjoy it when I take 2 turrets as Syndra, when Yi Rengar Yasuo and Tryndamere can solo penta?

Pfffft, what do you mean games snowball so hard it's pointless to try beyond 20 minutes?

This patch is not cancer at all!

(sarcasm)

Syndra takes those 2 turrets while simultaneously tanking both for at least 5 seconds at getting out at half health.

....... Huh?

48983507DEL11 votes

Exaggeration is real.

To be fair, the only issue is the turrets. They need to be stronger. Tryndamere and Yasuo got fixed with the Warlord's Bloodlust nerf, Yi is easily shut down by picking a champion that can actually be useful without farming, and Rengar is the same as he was last season.

I don't. I've been winning over 65% of my games this patch now that my strong laning and aggressive, objective oriented playstyle is actually being rewared. Season 5 was fucking garbage; you could never truly win in any lane since top and mid had TP and could use it to bail themselves out after fucking up hard early or use it to fuck over bot lane. Now that TP is out of meta and towers go down faster and give more gold, I can actually win my lane and win the game.

Verxint7 votes

Truth be told.

No longer can you kill someone 3 times in lane just to have them TP bot with mid and recover it all

Ratbert32 votes

"going 0/3 means you should lose the game unless your other two lanes absolutely stomp so that the other team has more useless people than yours"

Wow I can't believe they played like a team to recover. How dare they use teamwork and strategy to make up for their lack of raw power. Still boggles me how people can complain about tp when they could do the exact same when ahead.

Verxint3 votes

Teamwork is good, but being able to just spam people bot lane repeatedly isn't some amazing strategy that was deserving of that much.

Good TP ganks are one thing. The end of season 5 saw people TPing bot the moment a fight started because if everyone didn't respond, one side could usually wipe the other.

The fact is the intended responses to that, like pushing other lanes and stealing stuff, weren't enough pressure for how easy it was to pull off those ganks.

That's why teleport's channel time is 0.5s longer. It's a small difference but it makes a huge one.

Ratbert4 votes

So spamming is bad, not being able to actually do things with tp.

Your comment implies it's bad to be able to recover using tp and 4 out of 5 teammates at all.

Llanite4 votes

The problem lied with strong tower, even if you started pushing right after they TP, it's unlikely that you could take top tower by the time their jungler came.

It's not teamwork, it's disproportional risk-reward tradeoff which heavily favors passive farm. I like S5 better, if they leave, they'll have bot tower, but you're gonna have top

Ratbert6 votes

"disproportional risk reward" 300sec cd + all jungler pressure is clearly a trifle... for one gank...

You can do the exact same thing (gank) and screw up their recovery if you're already 3/0 against them.

Besides, how useful is a tp gank if enemy bot is playing passively, unless of course, you could dive because turrets were actually too weak.

How is ganking not teamwork? You're coordinating and working together in order to receive greater rewards.

Llanite2 votes

If one strategy totally dominates all others, that one is seriously OP/game-breaking.

Ratbert14 votes

Like the one where you spam early game meta champs to win?

Tp strat was mostly midlaners finally taking tp and using it. 5 man ganks always could happen, tp or not. I never found it too overbearing to be tp ganked (or even 4 man ganked), because I could play disengage supports. It also wasn't as totally dominant as other strategies, like "pick op champs" or "get flash" because there were some games where it didn't happen.

Llanite1 votes

You cannot organize your points, I failed to see what's you're pointing at.

Pick op champ, early champs or whatever isn't a dominant strategy, the payoff isn't great compared to traditional tactics (pick what you're proficient as + build balance team), sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

TP is the dominant strategy for top, regardless whether you are early/mid/late champs, an assassin, a tank, an adc, regardless the opponent is early/mid/late champs, an assassin, a tank, an adc, you have to take TP.

BetaDude408 votes

Meanwhile, EVERYONE is pretty much required to take flash.

Llanite1 votes

Which is just as bad but Riot believes it makes LoL different from dota, so I guess it's staying.

Does not mean we should keep another dominant.

Ratbert3 votes

Except not everyone takes tp. Only mid and top take it with any significant frequency.

There is ALWAYS a popular ss to take in any role, like ignite for all carries and some supports once upon a time.

Llanite1 votes

Mid/sup/adc can either bring barrier/ignite/exhaust depend on matchups.

For top, it's TP and TP only and it needed to change.

Ratbert1 votes

Not quite, top could take ignite to win lane harder or occasionally exhaust if you got spooked, and they're not that uncommon either.

Tp wasn't really the "completely dominant ss" top lane until mid started taking it, where it became probably chosen 80-85% (which still isn't flash's 99%). It's around as prevalent as heal/flash adcs, and ignite/flash mids. Sup is pretty evenly split around exh/flash and ignite/flash.

RyzeRework2 votes

how dare somone have an opinion!

Ratbert3 votes

How dare someone critique someone else's opinion!

I understand that he has his own opinions, but I am trying to find why because it directly opposes mine and because it seems slightly silly (unfair to use teamwork in a team game???).

RyzeRework1 votes

lolol i mean i can see if ur playing an early game champion like say pantheon or something and u get shutdown by a lategame scaling top lane there should be consequences, ive had a game were i was playing riven and was 40 cs and killed sion in my lane 2 times but then he got chain armor and a ruby crystal and i couldnt trade with him anymore

Ratbert1 votes

So then you roam. It's like you confine yourself to a losing fight even though a winning one is right beside you. Making a mistake should only make it difficult to win, not impossible.

RyzeRework1 votes

no game is impossible to win unless u feed soooo hard 1 kill doesnt make a game over when u go into a game thinking oh if i die 1 time im ganna lose YOUR GANNA LOSE

Ratbert1 votes

Except the consequences of losing a lane (going 0/2 or 0/3) now almost certainly means defeat unless two others win. Weak turrets and early game cheese meta made it this way.

RyzeRework1 votes

so what ur saying is that if you and another person on ur team lose lane you shouldnt lose the game? thats kinda the point your making. if you die 1 time in lane a solo kill you should play safe if you die over and over again it makes sense because they have more xp and gold

Ratbert1 votes

Not quite, I'm saying that even if one lane loses, the others must win. Going even is not an option for a good chance at winning.

Playing safe is now only an option for late game hypercarries simply because you will never have a time to outshine their early game power because it won't reach the point where it falls off dramatically anymore otherwise.

Keti1 votes

65% winrate could likely due to you being a yasuo player.

Slamurai Jack1 votes

I'd like to see you win 65% on Yasuo, or any champion for that matter. Or better yet, I'd like to see you take those impressive KDA's and actually start using them to win games. How the hell do you manage a 7/2/7 KDA over 50 games and only win 23 of them?

Keti1 votes

Preseason's kinda broke. I can get big but get outscaled anyways because my enemy laner can build rageblade (and kindred's midgame is ass)

Dominick Destine6 votes

That's just like.... your opinion, bro.

I am loving this preseason, Evelynn is in great shape, Taric is better than ever, hell, Rammus is actually viable now... hell even Sion is slightly better than pre patch. Games are faster sure, but Riot has stated that it was not intended, they are going to buff turrets to have scaling armor or some shit. I am satisfied.

Evelynn was always in great shape Kha zix was always in great shape (Just mentioning)

I HAVE NO freaking idea why ANYONE though they werent viable. I have seen people destroying games with evelynn once runeglaive came out to the point where riot had to increase her mana costs many patches later (EVENTHOUGH everyone though she was weak)

Taric who cares about him he ll get reworked anyway. And I have no idea why you think he is better then ever. Am I missing something?

Rammus is just hard counter to yasuo trynda kow maw and generaly AD comps. Dead man plate helps How is Sion better this patch. He cant even stack health longer then 20 minutes

idk my 5k health with 3 items (if you count boots as an Item then four) at 15 minutes tells a different story but ok....

I play a lot of Eve. The last time she was in bad shape was last years preaseason where she couldnt solo clear 3 camps without going deep into utility to get biscuits. Basically, if they invaded you and screwed up your leash your game was over because you were incredibly weak relative to the jungle.

Eve's been strong since Runeglaive release, but is difficult to blind pick in draft due to Rek'sai's mere existence. Rammus was always viable, I used him a lot. Sion is better than ever because 4% damage reduction helps him jungle and Grasp of Undying gives him life steal in lane. Rammus and Taric are gods because AD champs in general are broken due to reworks of half ADC, horrible new mastery system and Riots drunken item design.

It's only "snowbally" because split push is so strong. Ironically, split push can also be used to stall out the game. This "first blood GG" shizzle is still as inaccurate as ever. I've never had a "win lane - lose game" game game and I probably never will. If you don't lose your head, you can always find openings. It happens in bronze, it happens in LCS.

No it was NOT not even CLOSE

Naw, i've been playing more than ever. I love short games. It doesnt feel like i'm making a major commitment every time I hit "play". Then I dont feel completely mentally exhausted and nearly as pissed off when I lose.

In fact, for the first time ever, after game ends I want to play again.

Arrogant people here, I actually like shorter games. I don't get to try out certain things but I am able to build faster and work with what I got more effectively and use my skills efficiently more than I ever could before. Fast paced makes me react faster, I'm gonna love season 6 no matter what.

Llanite2 votes

Never asked for shorter games, but I enjoy s5 far more than s4. Game is more fun and interactive as hypercarry and their farm fest shows up less often.
