@Riot: Require Minimum Games Played Before Champion May Be Used In Ranked

The Problem

I have been running into a lot of players in ranked who are playing champions they are unfamiliar with. I have checked match histories and found that they often have only played a small number of games with the champion, and only in ranked.

The Solution

I think it would be a great QoL improvement to solo queue if your ranked champion pool only consisted of champions you have finished at least <insert minimum #> games with in any game mode. I think a reasonable starting point for this number is 3 games. This could be 3 ARAMs or 3 Custom games vs all bots, whatever, just enough to familiarize yourself with the champion.

Reasoning

Ranked shouldn't be the place where someone plays champions to "try them out". It really hurts your team to be inexperienced with your champion. I'd actually prefer the minimum be something like 10 games, but I understand that would be prohibitive for a lot of people, so I think 3 is a good compromise.

Alternatively, if this is strongly undesired for some reason, could we get some Elo adjustments based on champion experience, similar to what happens in Team Builder?

Downvoted for making sense.

Because of streamers and pros they will never make this change. Their interests always trump the interests of the rest of us mere peons. Slightly inconvenience pros and streamers by having to play a few normals games to unlock a champ in ranked? Not a chance.

Downvoted for attempting to ruin normal games.

The solution sounds plausible, but as Raptamei said in this thread they can just spam other modes and still enter Ranked without even being able to play it properly.

I think 10 games isn't asking too much at all. If Riot included KDAs in matchmaking, this would help a lot. That way if the person does die a lot, you shouldn't have be matched with someone who is just going to be dead weight.
