A suggested change for Darius.

I know that Darius can be pretty dang strong right now, but I also know that Riot is a BIG fan of the realization of design philosophies, especially if they fit practically.

Darius' ult, Noxian Guillotine, is a power fantasy, especially with the resets. To create this fantasy, there is a combination of true damage, the stacking with more stacks of your passive, the automatic max Noxian Rage when you kill someone, the reset, and the feared minions upon landing.

And while I think it's a devastating ultimate, I'm going to put this out here, and I think it'd have to be toyed with in order to prevent it from being too OP...

But I think once the axe is coming down, you shouldn't be able to die.

It makes sense that on the way up he could die or something, but once you're about to drop the enemy, I think there should be a brief window of invulnerability.

Or at least if he dies, let him die after the attack goes through.

Because it really detracts from the fantasy when you're in the heat of a duel or maybe you've been flanked by 2 or 3 people, you're at low health, your opponent finally has 5 stacks and they just dropped below 50%, you leap up for the kill and you know that if you do, you'll get the reset and the triple off of it, but you die to minion aggro or something.

Especially since Darius is such a low attack speed champion, getting five stacks isn't always easy. I mean the W autoattack reset helps, and the Q does too, even though they can just stick to you in melee range to avoid the stack from that if they're good enough. I feel like once you've gotten those five stacks, you've earned your ult.

And maybe people will say that it's my fault for not timing it right. And maybe it is. It's not always easy, even though Darius is pretty simple to play. But it never FEELS like my fault. It feels like the game jipped me, because if I jump a half second earlier, they only have 4 stacks or they're not low enough to die to the swing, they'll just die to the bleed and I won't get the reset. I dunno, what do you all think?

He's in a fine spot as is, I don't think he needs changes. Not even a small buff.

Lmao, he's already so overbearing to deal with and his kit is waaaaay too easy to use for how unforgiving of an opponent he can be. IF some1 wants to clutch out the kill b4 he land ult, then good for them.

Lol no. He's already a either-counterpick-or-lose champ with laning so oppressive that castro would be impressed. He in no way needs anything resembling a buff.
