Can we make Tristana more engaging to play against please...

As of right now... the main counterplay to Trist is. 1) Hope she is a trash can and jumps into your whole team. 2) run away. 3) Have godlike reflexes and a displacement ability and time that displacement ability the moment she tries to jump away. 4) Shut her down early with ganks, so that your jungler doesnt waste their time, see number 3.

There are two adcs right now that I don't enjoy playing against. Sure I don't like them, but it's more then that. They aren't very engaging to play against. Miss fortune for instance is an engaging champ to play against. Its a push pull with trying to stand beside minions, or standing behind to bait out her double up then moving forward to trade poke, hitting her to slow her down, and making a decision whether to trade or to run when she ults. Jhin as well has engaging counterplay, avoid standing next to back line of casters if you have recently taken poke watch for the extremely thin skill shot, keep track of how many shots he has left in his clip. Even Vayne, who people say is just "right click" (obviously havent played her). Quick trades to avoid her silver bolts, avoid walls, take advantage of her low range all game, and tiny health pool, her early game damage is extremely pitiful compared to any other adc in return for a strong late game. I could literally go through the engaging elements of basically every single adc.

And then we get to Tristana. Engage her after her attack speed steroid... umm ok she is probably playing way back and has you shoved under tower by then just by last hitting minions. She is a hyper carry shut her down early... gl with that, Trist has built in waveclear and a point and click ability to make basically any trade even. and if she is even remotely intelligent she is gonna play at a range where to even try to harrass her early means you have to match her waveclear at the least, and you have to push through minions to her. Her late game point and click burst, i can only really compare to Syndra, but at least Syndra has to get q's out first to setup her ult. Trist is a hyper carry with an actually pretty dang good early game. She is full of point and clicks that don't really have any type of interesting mechanics built around them. Syndra requires balls, Vayne requires walls, Brand has to combo skill shots after his point and clicks, etc. etc. She is frustrating to play against as her early game is way too safe to have the type of late game that she has. We have all seen it in pro play, as well as in our own games. I honestly don't think i've ever won a game against a Trist this season...

TL;DR- Tristana has too safe an early game to have the late game she does. I would like to see either more opportunity to shut her down early, or for one or more of her point and clicks to become skill shots.

She's not that safe. her jump has a delay on it to which you can stop her jump with a knock back or movement displacement. A lot of champs can stop that and it's not entirely impossible to do it albeit not that easy either. But you see this happen often enough in higher rank that Trist just isn't a great pick unless you have the team that can peel and commit to peeling you. Whereas champs like MF doesn't necessarily rely on the strength of her support early as much as Trist does. MF can bully the lane with just about any champion though a support that can keep targets in place for MF's ult is ideal. Trist on the other hand is treated like a typical hyper carry. Her early game is weak; if your ADC is trading 1v1, where is the support and why is the support not engaging against Trist? Trist has an extremly weak early game in that she loses to a lot of lane bullies throughout early and mid game. And if she did indeed lose out like she was supposed to early and mid, that means the opposing ADC is pretty big and has delayed/denied the threat of Trist's late power. Realistically though Trist gets a power spike at 6.

i hate to sound like a stickler but you picked vayne in that match against trist. grant both of you are late game champs but she has better objective control while you have better dueling potential but since her passive grants her range per a level you have to shut her down earlier. in this case though since you didn't have a pick champ that singles out enemies for your team you couldn't destroy her during the team fight, and she had an ori with her if she did jump into your team ori would have just ulted from her

ill just leave those there. Tristana has a 70% win rate in LCS right now, as a hyper carry in games that average 30 minutes because LCS encourages LCS players to not drag games out more then necessary. She has an overall not bad win rate overall but notice how first of all her win rate has spiked massively within recent patches. Also notice how both Tristana and Vayne are "hyper carries" except Vaynes "win rate by match length" actually shows that she is a hyper carry. Tristana's "win rate by match length" literally is completely even across the board. Carries with an extremely strong late game like she and Vayne have, should suffer for it in the early game. And it just doesnt show based on statistics, as well as personal experience.
