Is rushing Tri-force on Ezreal still viable?

Triforce Ezreal just costs too much.
is 7400 gold.
is 5100 gold. Hence, everyone goes the second build.
Yes, it is more viable than it use to be with the IBG nerf, but IBG is still better.
yesh. i'd get frozen mallet. so you still get the slow on the Q. even tho tf gives more damage. the mana and cdr from ibg is nice. and the armor too so u can duel ad carries. also the heath on the mallet would make up for the armor durability of the ibg. tho cdr boots and tf give you 20% cdr. you need 10% more. then death dance would be better over bt.
ofcourse am assuming your still gonna buy manamune right?
Sure, but why would you want to build
when its inferior to
?

because it's one item instead of two?
Yeah well, you kind of have to think of your build past your first buy.

Yeah well, you kind of have to think of your build past your first buy.
the main thing blue ez is good at is at kiting, Triforce builds don't rely on kiting as much and instead focus on dealing as much damage as possible. It also opens up your other items as well as making your autos be more relevant as well as making you have a better early-mid game. Both builds have their pros and cons and calling one more inferior than the other is dumb.
Its not dumb at all, the blue build synergizes better with his kit. Saying that its dumb to call one build inferior to another is simply ignorant.
It has awesome snowball potential and can dish out tons of damage, but outside of that it's entirely possible to fall off... which makes you cry because you don't have that super awesome Muramana powerspike to fall back on.
It's not terrible, it can certainly do its job while also being incredibly fun! I remember when Triforce got changed at the start of Season 6 and everyone was saying it'll be terrible on Ezreal because he lost the 30AP on it. However, the extra 10% Crit Chance PLUS Essence Reaver being available makes for a powerful build with very real and respectable powerspikes provided they can be obtained in a reasonable timeframe.
I feel bad because there's now plenty of players that just choose Ezreal because he's like, super easy freelo and just pretend that Iceborne is the only option on him and always has been. And the next logical thing for them to do is to flame their team, show off to please their ego and do all kinds of other ridiculous stuff, of course.
I prefer this build because tri-force has everything ezreal needs where iceborn only helps him a little in a few ways. First the proc on sheen is less with iceborn. Second the proc on phage helps ez kite and chase (iceborn helps this way too but you dont have as much damage as a result and) not to mention the move speed passive on triforce. This also lets you go crit with cdr from ER and crit q's are awesome (also very efficient cdr wise).
In the end I would say that a less skilled player might be better off with the ice born because it is safer. Tri force helps a skilled player deal more damage at the point in the game where ez is strongest (midgame).
It is viable, though more risky. Youn have different powerspikes, overall a more expensive gear and need to be alot more carefull with your mana than with blue ez, unless you get ER wich shifts youe powerspikes once again and you're more squishy, but the totall damage potential is also alot higher.
Triforce is viable on pretty much anyone, it's triforce.
But with Ez, IBG is a better option in most aspects including price and sustained damage.
