You are criticizing him while removing his words from context to make him look bad.

I don't think its a secret that Riot is really pretentious

Personally I don't see how Riot's champion designs are much better than those of other games. Different game = different styles of play, Riot just happens to be very good at marketing towards what the general masses like.
