Reintroduce Malady?

SleepyLionCub··1 votes·864 views

Malady is an old weapon that shares similar traits of the Nashors tooth and Wits end. However it was removed a long time go. Reintroducing it, and removing the Nashors tooth, and Wits end from the game could lead these 2 under used items to be a common pick among AP Bruisers and mages alike. However the old Milady is a bit weaker, and needs some buffs to compensate.

MILADY: 60 AP (Nashors) 45% Attackspeed (Both) 20 MR (Wits end) 20% CDR (Nashors) 10 + .15 AP per autoattack (Nashors) Steal 5 MR from enemy with autoattacks. Stacks up to 5 times, and lasts 5 seconds (Wits end)

PRICING/BUILD:

Null-Magic Mantle(400)+ Stinger(1250) + Fiendish Codex(820) = Milady TOTALCOST: 2950, FULLBUILDCOST: 480. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This gives a Nashors tooth, and Wits end very good Synergy all into one item. This item would display very good synergy with not only itself, but also other items. Especially ones that increase attack speed. This helps many AP champions who are reliant on autoattacks like Azir, Chogath, Gnar, Teemo, and even Thresh. Also, it replaces 2 underused items with a new highly synergetic item choice. Malady was borken up and put into nashors and witsend. Now you want them to destory nashors and wits, then make malady.....

Do you even listen to your self?

Dude, the lichs bane, nashors tooth, wits end combo is insane and doesn't need to be any stronger.

Nashors CD supports lichs bane Lichs bane's ap supports nashors passive Wits end destroys enemy mr which supports lich bane and nashors and is supported by nashors passive

It's my key build for Diana and Fizz plz don't make it easier for me to build them

  1. It's Malady.
  2. Current Nashor's and Lichbane are much better than your suggestion.

If you want an on-hit item, Nashor's is better due to attack speed. Lichbane is the superior proc without attack speed.

Your suggested build path is broken, with the items you provided it would have a minimum of 40% attack speed and cost over 3400g .

I Was comparing it to the Wits end, not Lichbane.

If you're not able to get more than a few attacks off (due to lack of attack speed), Lichbane is better. That's my point.

Unless your goal is creating an item that is strictly worse than two currently existing items, your idea is not very good.

Why does it need to waste 400g on MR? How many auto-attacks does it take for the MR shred to have any impact?

You build Nashor's because you want attack speed + CDR, not the on-hit damage. If you want extra damage on your combo, Lichbane is always better.

My build path isnt broken btw. I did the math and it would cost 480 gold after you bought all the previous build items.

And lichbane isnt even relevant... I dont understand why ur even bringing it up. It has nothing to do with this item.

You're proposing Nashor's Tooth (2920g) with 20MR (400g) and Wit's End's passive (???g). That's a minimum of 3320g without factoring in the 2nd passive.

Why?

And if you don't understand why Lichbane is relevant, it's simple. Nashor's Tooth is currently barely used because it takes too many auto-attacks for it to match Lichbane's damage, attack speed is a mediocre stat on melees because it's so hard to stick on your targets.

When, at all did I ever say Nashors tooth, and Wits End were part of the build? AKA I didnt. ReRead the thread, then maybe you'll see how I built the Milady.

You took Nashor's stats (2920g), removed 5% attack speed (150g), added 20MR (400g) and slapped on Wit's End's passive.

Null-Magic Mantle(400)+ Stinger(1250) + Fiendish Codex(820) + Combine Cost (850) = 3320g

I don't think -150g from 5% attack speed (and -5 base damage) makes up for the the second passive's cost, especially when considering how gold efficient Nashor's currently is.

Build cost was only 480. Again. READ IT

What Devi is saying is your item is brokenly efficient for a single-slot item.

Build cost being 480 just exaggerates the problem.

Also, Riot removed Malady to specifically split it onto both Wit's End and Nashor's Tooth, and since when did telling Riot they did something wrong mean something?

If Nashor's Tooth is worth 2920g.

An item with even higher stats should be worth more. That's pretty much it.

I would rather get a totally new item based on the OLD Malady. EG, OnHit magic damage, attackspeed, and lifesteal.

Make it mark the enemy with a debuff that triggers off allied damage to deal some bonus magic damage and heals the attacker for the same amount.
