Fighting Illaoi is like fighting a Boss.

Today I picked Nasus and though that I'll be facing many Illaoi's in the top Lane. As a Nasus player I though Tentacles = Free Stacks. During laning phase I was able to dodge all her attacks and was laughing at her. But when I walked to kill one of her Tentacle she spirit hooked me and start beating my Spirit. I was like WTF she does soo much damage but then I realized I was in trouble. The screen turned foggy greenish and tentacle's spawned all around me to smash me, all I could scream was I'm sorry I didn't meant to stack on you guys while I was running for my life.

But as time passed I became that late game monster with the Crit Masteries and crit build Nasus (S6 Meta if you don't go Crit then you are doing something wrong) I TP and ghosted to END my early game terror that was Illaoi.

I screamed, DIE YOU TENTACLE FREAK!

Dodge tentacles and go in on her when she takes your spirit. Illaoi will most likely try to focus your spirit for the tentacle spawns, but since your Nasus Im certain you can get off enough damage for her to back down.

NOT fighting Illaoi is like fighting a boss. Test of Spirit doesn't help her unless you're trying to not smack her in the face.

Bullshit. You can't get anywhere near her without taking tons of damage, which is even higher if she hits you and the spirit.

The spirit leaves after you hit her 2 or 3 times. And unless you're lining yourself up, she's not going to be hitting both of yous with her levels of telegraphing.
