How to not get camped, by a Jungler

Often I see people complain about how much they were camped(aka getting ganked once or twice lul). So I thought I would spread a simple message. Whether it be because you have no wave control and let them get 15 minions under your tower making you easy to dive. Or because you are pushed to the enemy turret with no wards up.

#Junglers will always gank lanes that are easy to gank

If you are getting 'camped'. Then you are making yourself easy to kill. Junglers are assholes that like taking candy from babies. We don't like challenges, we like free gold. If you are getting repeatedly ganked, it's because you are making yourself enticing to gank.

Three basic tips, though there is a lot more complicated stuff to consider. 1: Don't extend, push or play aggressive if your laner is capable of killing you or otherwise you don't directly know the whereabouts of the enemy jungler and roaming laners.

2: Learn to ward.

3: Don't let yourself be under your own tower with more than a couple minions. If the enemy is pushing into you power clear enough minions to keep yourself hard to dive. If you see a potential dive inc by the wards you hopefully placed, ping for help, CLEAR MINIONS and have an escape plan in mind.

These three are very basic tips, there are more complicated things you can learn on your own. Just keep in mind, us junglers are assholes, we want easy kills.

ah but you see, I enjoy being camped and sometimes keep aggro on my lane just for that purpose. when you and the midlaner come bot to try and shut me and my adc down I'll just say "you guys push lanes, I got this covered" then I lulu ult and take a quad under tower while we get 2 of yours.

or more commonly since it's soloQ I just kind of die under it after a while and literally nothing else is accomplished cause sir nasus wanted the minions. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

I love wasting the enemy jungler's time like that, especially when I'm ahead or playing a great 1v2 top laner (eg: Darius and Illaoi).

I'm pretty sure Shen is the one getting ganked. In which case, the dash width increase and Q damage to champions changes actually make him even more punishing to dive.

Sometimes getting camped can make you win the game as you will drive the attention of the enemy jungler somewhere where he can't help his other team mates

the best example is when you get ganked toplane, your team is able to get the dragon. Which is why i try to play super agressive post lvl 7 or 8 if i'm toplane as any toplaner except maybe gangplank that needs to be alive to ult

I just wish I would get teammates that don't all in their enemy when they're already 0-3. I'm sitting in a game at 1-0, up 40 cs on my enemy at 10 mins...and the score of the match is already 3-18. Like, how can people be this dumb?

This doesn't always help. People will dive you if they have enough items/damage to kill you.

A malphite or gragas ganking for a yasuo is death no matter how well you played

And for some reason, Zac I dont know whats going through their minds when I pick Zac, but maybe this :" Zac is an offmeta pick! He's guranteed to lose and I can take kills! He is playing safe so maybe I should... DIVE HIM!" Then I get a double kill because my passive.

Fine in theory, but in regards to step 2, mid and top don't have access to enough vision to sufficiently protect themselves.

Going mid and/or top is a diceroll because if you want/need to win lane at any point, no matter how you time/place your wards, you will need assistance to get enough necessary information.

Kinda how this whole cheese-camp bullshit started.

Control warding your near-side lane bush is really handy, if they clear it, you know they are interested in ganking you, and can either lane safely, or if pushed too far out, leave and come back (jg will probably have left by then, and you can bring a fresh item 2055 for your bush). Also, take Scuttle crab if it's up, it's like a free ward on the river for you (which is deep enough to see a gank via the river coming long enough for you to retreat all the way to your tower before they get there too).

You can't prevent being camped a lot of the time, but you can make it less effective. I've been ganked 7 times in 3 minutes by a jungler several times, even if all of the previous attempts failed. Some junglers just decide to camp someone.

Depends on your definition of gank. If they pop out of a bush and try to gap close onto you or throw a skillshot cc or something, but you avoided it because you knew they were there then that counts as a gank no matter how many times they go into fog of war and come back to keep trying. Thats what an actual camp is - when a jungler sits just out of vision for a long time just threatening to do something if you come up for cs or try to trade back.

Sometimes, it's not really within your power to stop a gank from occuring. Sometimes, you either bend over and let it happen or walk away and just lose the CS/Turret

I was playing a Karthus vs a Heim today. Was going fine, i was destroying him in lane. Then my both lane loses tower at 6 min and get pushed in so bot lane and jungle are constantly using ult in my lane. It was so annoying because I decided not to leave the lane on time. Other time, it's the Elise, and Talon just tower diving you. Turret does like no damage...

another tip, always have some sort of escape plan for the ganks if you keep getting away after we gank you, we wont gank you

and a tip for countering ww, don't stay in lane under half health while laning. your basically asking to get ganked

Step 1: Pick Sion

Step 2: Cheese their 2nd buff camp

Step 3: Throw some subtle trash talk or a ;D in /all chat

Step 4: Get camped

As a JG myself. This is correct. If you are weak and push your lane because you want to farm at my teams tower then so be it, ganks for days. And of you have zero health and refuse to leave from under your tower and back then again I coming for you.

I always use that jungler mindset to my advantage

i make myself appear easy to gank so the jungler wastes time hanging around my lane

acting like im not aware of him but staying on the edge of the ''danger zone'' stepping into it only when the jungler wants to move away from my lane and then sees me walking into the ''danger zone'' and he comes back

making him waste a ton of time

also make him actually gank me and then escaping spamming laugh and taunts to tillt them into coming back

making them spend way too much time on me so they don't go after my team lol

One way to not get ganked is to go into the enemy's jungle and kill their jungler. Rinse and repeat.

Like for example; if you're playing Talon and their jungler is Graves, you can easily kill Graves in his own jg once you hit 6. Then you can just camp him instead of the other way around... Like, I do this all the time... I just camp in the bush near the gate leading to their red buff and I just burst him down and take his red. Then since he knows that his red is gone, he'll go to his blue, and I do it again.

Then when I'm done killing him, I go back to lane and quickly wave clear and gank top or bot.

It was easier to do this with Rek'sai before they nerfed her into the ground... She used to be so much fun... they should at least give back the fury passive on her W...

But in all seriousness, you WILL be camped if you're choosing champions with no escape beyond flash. More often that not, the trend is that players are choosing champions that are limited in their ability to pull out, and are punished (rightly so) for being too aggressive with them.

Remember: You do not need to kill to win your lane. While killing helps, preventing them from farming and forcing them to miss exp by recalling is equally effective.

Can confirm! Also If you don't wanna get camped, DON'T USE ALL CHAT! My strategy has always been, search to gank easy lanes. But when someone salts at ANYONE in /all chat I'M CAMPING THEM TILL THEY RAGE QUIT. Also If its before ten minutes and I'm taxing a side wave with my laner there, that means I'm gonna bush camp you and just wait until you come back to lane to kill you again. That REALLY gets the salt flowing.
