Ok, I think riot are failing with some of the ARAM balance changes.
I have played tons of arams, and I have to admit it is nice that riot have taken an interest in the mode and added specific buffs/nerfs on champions.
BUT, I think they need to not take into account ARAM games that are played in low MMR.
For example, LB received ANOTHER buff, she now will deal 15% increased damage AND receive 15% reduced damage. The problem is, people that couldn't make LB work with 12% more damage output and -10% incoming damage are NOT GOING TO BE SUDDENLY ABLE TO DO IT. Whereas the people that actually have even the slightest experience with the champion will run rampant even more. Seriously, I haven't seen a LB do bad in AGES.
Another buff that was extremely unnecessary imo is Kassadin. The dude is already destroying people if he gets 3 items. He didn't need a damage buff of all things.
And now for the nerfs...
Maokai with another nerf? Really? Are riot actually taking into account games played under 50% of the MMR or something? Ideally I would like them to only take into consideration the top 5% of games but even 15%(equivalent to them balancing SR for gold 2 and above or so) wouldn't result with these absurd changes...
All in all, I love you for taking time to somewhat balance ARAM, and some changes were spot on. But you have to account for Mains when buffing something and you have to take into consideration higher MMR matches when nerfing. OR nerf only ONE part of a champion's kit. Like, sure make maokai take 20% more damage OR deal 20% less damage, but -15% damage dealt AND +12% damage taken in conjunction make the champion feel meeeh no matter how you play him. On the contrary I like the approach to Janna, where they don't touch her damage but nerfed the shit out of shield and heals, and also made her take more damage. So, you can play her as AP carry and do damage, but her cancerous support playstyle is less effective.
P.S. These are all the 10.3 adjustments for Aram.
P.S.2. If all healling is nerfed on allies, they need to make Lulu R be the same. Because technically it isn't "healing" but increased HP it's not nerfed and it creates inconsistency. Just make her R be half value on allies but full value on herself.
