What are your predictions for Midseason top picks?

A lot of changes and chances are comming to us very soon, they will rework the way mages (In all their categories, Brawlers, Assasins, Controllers, Supports, Disengagers, Etc) interact with the game, the lanes and other champions.

I'm very excited to see what new things the midseason brings (or what mess, for all we know)

What are your predictions?

I feel brawler mage builds are going to be much common, the new Catalyst just encourages it enough, things like Full AP are going to be outclassed by these new Brawler builds.

Also champions who were previously limited to certain playstyle or strategies or even prevented to be picked due to weaknesses in mana management and survival are going to find a lot of new opportunities with the new Tear and Zhonyas

The meta for top lane will switch to

Top- Vladimir Irelia Gragas Quinn Reasoning? Ap Top laners are now a thing again with how the items have been reworked, but because of this bruiser/assassin top laners will also be good for they have the lock down to battle them

Jg-Will remain exactly the same, and tbh I feel people are grossly overhyping malz Jungle

Mid- Lissandra Annie Velkoz Fizz Ahri Zed Vladimir Just about any mage mid laner is now viable, ap assassins get a few hidden buffs, but for the most part the mid meta will remain the same, just more mages

ADC- Jinx Caitlyn Tristana Jhin WE are fully back into the late game hyper carry adc meta, for they are the best answer toward mages, they kill mages faster than anyone

Support- Will just chose depending on what the team needs, as they always have

iirc gragas has quite a few problems laning but I see your point!

I totally expect to see many Swain Kennen Vladimir destroying top

Pretty much the same as yours but i would throw in Twitch and Vayne for adcs you'll see often as well

technically the two of those are "late game hyper carries" so they count :P but the reason why I think vayne won't happen is because she hates mages, for they simply jump, ult, kill, assassins she can at least out play. Plus she was always best in tank metas. She kinda lives by her own rules.

Malzahar 50% max hp magic BASE damage in an aoe with his ult.... ow he gets to surpress someone as well

tanknivia op Anivia

rush roa, then get tanky af items. maybe get a tear before roa and ultimately built it into seraphs, but other than those 2 full tank items. You still hit pretty hard but they have to kill tanknivia and tanknivia's even tankier egg. hehe.
