I play mid Brand Riot
Yes I get it, support Brand is op. He has high base damages from his ult and passive with little AP itemization, and frost queens is disgustingly cost efficient and gives him everything he needs.
By all means nerf Support Brand, but can you stop being retarded for just one patch and actually understand what you are doing.

Riot can't have him stay as cancer in bot just because he isn't OP in mid, it isn't fair but that's how it works.

Back in my days Brand was considered average at best, because of how easy it was to play around him with any kind of mobility.
For the past two, three months all I hear is "Brand is OP".
He was average when his ult was super whack, many QoL fixes helped make it more reliable.

Fixing a bug that doesn't always happen which doesn't affect the outcome in most situations barely counts as a reason for a champion to go from zero to hero out of blue.

Nerf his stun duration (which does naturally hurt mid Brand but hurts support Brand's laning more because that second person isn't there to follow up in mid lane; maybe make it scale up?). That bug fix on his R helps deal with him support but doesn't impact mid too unfairly.

Lowering his base damage also kinda destroys his mid lane, he is a combo champion if he didn't do a lot of damage even early game when he combos you he wouldn't be good enough.
Honestly i don't wanna see him nerfed but he is pretty fucking OP in bot lane and Riot is somewhat stuck balance wise when it comes to him.

Uhm same as annie? reduce his stun early game and make it scale out of levels. That will reduce his utility while leaving his mid practically untouched

Honestly don't think that works.
He wins automatically the moment he hits level 6, and his harass is strong against ADCs that can't force trades (which is pretty much all of them)

EcchiOtakuTM1 votesSorry forgot to add they need to make the % max hp damage on the passive scale per level on either the duration or the amount per second as well. Yes it's also a nerf to mid-lane brand but that+ the stun being heavy at rank 1 make laning vs him a bit too much. Although again I'm still sad it's gonna nerf midlane brand.

It seems like this is just a fundamental problem with immobile mages where they just can't survive against mobility in mid lane unless their base damage is so silly that they might as well go bot lane where their aoe can REALLY cause some hurt and they have backup to make it harder to dive them and generally round out their weaknesses.
