Like damn.. you cannot keep the space aids and then give him 100 spawns with an ult that locks you down for like a whole year while having a silence and a pool that shred tanks. No... no.. I can handle irelia, she can be beat in lane, she can be focused down in teamfights, I can handle Hec.. dont get killed in lane, ward his jungle, dont let him get a lead and focus him down in teamfights. I can deal with Vlad, burst him in lane, can be beat in lane.

But Malz... what did you do.. why did you give him 100 pawns for, they can 100-0 you with JUST THE DAMN VOLDINGS O.O... And then you top it off by giving him a free banshee veil. You cant give him damage, some sort of ability protection AND a super long TARGETED cc. You know why? Well cause he will just built sumo-tank with rylais roa abysall zhonya + his passive shield, and he will take a while to kill, not to mention the EXTRA cc from Rylais and he DOES SO MUCH DAMAGE. And that lock up on his ult makes him the best champion to roam with to gank. And one more thing... he can always push lane super easy and super fast and theres nothing anyone can do about it cause the other team will just lose pressure.

... And he kills tanks also, I cant believe they let this through.

And if hes a good player he will have wards out and avoid getting to close to turrets to get caught in lane, like hes broke...

Malz has always had a super long powerful point and click CC. And he used to actually be even less fun to play against, due to have less moments of weakness than he currently does.

With a decent build, Malz's E alone could do over 1K damage, while you also had to worry about his max % HP damage W and point and click suppress that was much more powerful early-mid than it is now.

I actually don't understand the addition of his passive at all. It seems like it's either going to be OP, or completely worthless, and there will never be a way to balance it in between, either he will feel like he doesn't have it even when he has it up, or he will feel like he's invincible when he does. Same goes for his W.

Though really all his passive does is give less skilled players the ability to block spells, where a skilled malz player before the rework could often block to single target abilities anyway. Nothing is more satisfying than blocking a blitz hook with a voidling while playing AD and making him question all of his life decisions.

malz only problem is his passive. his ult suppresses himself too basically.

People always tell me that, but Malz can always choice when to use it, practically when you have man adv or roaming, you cant do much when you go bot and ult the adc or support and cant do anything about it. And most of the team he goes with the jungle and just straight up dive. And the biggest kicker, yes it does suppress himself as well, but he still does damage with Voilding, pool, and R while the other person cannot, so hes basically not completely suppressed because hes still doing damage. So if you have 3-4 s heads up before the fight even begins, ofc hes going to win AND DEFINITELY when after the ults is done he still has voildings -.-...
