@RiotMEDLLER the AFK/Rank team worker you have is useless this is the honest truth.

How in the hell does a game that is over 6 year old and the MAIN problem that has been plaguing the game ever since the game was made still have a AFK in rank issue that is never address?

Who do you even hire for this position to improve the over all game play? I'm not talking about skin/balancing/new champion, I'm talking about the OVER ALL GAME SYSTEM itself. This is pathetic how a company that earns over 1 billion dollar with over 100 million so called monthly players and gloating about it still have a team that can't even improve game.

Trying to power rank to diamond but had a idiot who D.C at 7 minute and came back 15 minute later, even though we were 9 kills while enemy had 12 we can't make a comeback because enemy mid lane got to free farm and now we have a useless mid who comes back with out any gold except for sec gold and then starts to feed because he gets bursted in 2 SEC.

That GAME was a free win for us but because a person who D.C for over 15 minute comes back and will not get punish THE TEAM ends up getting punish by losing points.

START punishing these guys MORE. Wtf is a simple warning going to do??? Let them be the only one to lose point.

I swear Riot you need to actually hire people who can get a simple job done for AFK, Lyte did NOTHING to improve it when he was the lead worker all he did was made a robot report system after B.S his words 2 years in the making saying tribunal will come back. He also said their will be improvement to the ranking afk system which did not except for a remake that should had not taken a P.H.D brane to come up with. If this is all Lyte can come up with then please hire me or some one who can actually get work done in 1 year, a stupid simple remake should not had taken this guy 3 years into his job to make.

Meddler PLEASE reply to this because you never reply to people actually criticizing the game. You are practically the only one who actually talk about the game issue most of the time.
Please have a simple group meeting and not talk about SKIN/BALANCING/NEW CHAMPION/ESPORT and take a simple 1 hour to have a talk with the workers and talk about how to IMPROVE the OVER ALL game play.

So what do you want them to do? How do you stop people from afking? It could have been all sorts of things, even out of the control of the player. Could have been ISP problem, or Riots infamous client problems. What can the possible do to fix this? If it was something simple it would have been implemented at this point!

K first it doesn't matter if it's is out of the player control if they press rank and they some how lagg that is on them not the players.

If Riot has a client problem that is plaguing the game that is in a large scale then please by all mean they have the power to give lost forgiven, I recommend boosting the remake system to 4 minute so people who might get bug splat get to rejoin but if they do not then chances are it isn't bug splat because bug splat usually take 3 minute tops to get back into the game.

Sarutobi please tell me when you said "if it was something simple it would had been implemented" then why in the Riot heaven name did it took Riot 7 years into the game making to make a remake system?

I'm not the person who can say I know all about game system and their works but I'm definitely sure it should not take over 2/3 years at most to make a remake system that stops the game and gives neither team points.

To make it fair for the team to had to remake that didn't have the afk they should get 3 free point so it doesn't seem like a waste of time.

First off no it's not on the player. Especially when we have no way of knowing if we are going to lag in our game beforehand it's not fair. If there was a way to know then I could see it that way, but until then. You could have the best/exspensive type of Internet and still at least once get some horrible lag spike because of how inconsistent the internet is, as anything as simple as the time of day could affect how the Internet is for you.

As for waiting 7 years for remake you obvious have no idea how coding works. It can take that long (or even longer) to even have a concept of what you want. Make sure the system itself cannot be abused, and that it would help improve the community as a whole. Then you need to code it and people who work with codes know even the slightest difference can make HUGE mistakes with the client that could at first be hidden. Finally when all that is done you need proper testing. Even before hitting the PBE, im sure they test everything out before putting it out on the PBE, but things like this are a timely process. It's not as simple as you think it is!

Yes you can actually test out your connection to the Riot server by using window command and typing in the IP if i recall of the server Riot uses to see the connection speed, They also had a lag/ping system that was in the loading into game screen but they took it out for some reason like they took out the system that shows a person is dynamic duo or not< Lovely isn't it? I don't know if you were there at the time they had this since your account is level 12 or this is just a hiding on board account but w.e

I said I don't know the best about the game coding but I know some and no it doesn't take 7 years or more my friend because your logic is flawed, you're telling me that a remake system takes Riot longer then it takes to make the game itself or even any other company take to make a triple AAA game? Lets not forget Riot has 1000 employees while other company have under 150 at most, yes I know that not all of the 1000 employees work in the same department like graphic design or balancing team but I'm sure in those 1k there is at least 20 people working on the over all game play itself.

For the PBE part then no Riot announce remake and they are working on it in 1 month if I recall (Hope a Rioter comes tell me if I am wrong).and it was on the PBE for 1 month without any flaws except loop holes which i hear about on the board where a player lost 1 promo match in a remake some how.

Just a question how long have you even played the game since you seem like you never knew about the ping indicator in loading screen? I've played the game since 2011 (Make a new account in 2011 for a refresh start) so i know quite more about the old system.

I've been playing since around season 2. The ping indiction isn't a reliable source let alone one that tells you before you actually get into a game, as that is the main problem.

Also note that while you think it took them 7 years to make the remake system they probably didn't even think about it till season 3,if not later. We don't know how long it took them to make it so everything you are saying is speculation!

I'd like to see some sources on this 1000 employees because that seems a bit too much unless you are also taking into account things like casters/pro players which really have no say in the actual making of the product for the game!

O I know because Lyte said he was working just like the tribunal he worked on it but ended up being useless and left the company before it was even complete.

Yes they have over 1 k workers this is counting workers from other regions, definitely sure Monte who is a caster said they just hire them for certain events to cast LCS/LCK so pretty much they get hired on certain days rather then full time. Only people I think that actually work for Riot that is also a caster is Phreak and maybe sjzok.

So again how are those types of people that have little to no say in what is actually made or worked on going to help solve the situation? In that case yes Tiot has that much employees but how many of them are actual workers and not just caster/proplayers/region workers!

The main thing is NA region as they are the ones who have the final say as well as actually working on the content. But even then as you say there are different departments not all of them have the same amount of people let alone a good amount of people working in one area.usually they also have people who work in various departments.

The remake system doesnt exist because it woukd be way to easy to tilt your teammates into quitting so you get a free excused game.

Its to abusable.

Personally I've always found repeat-offenses to be an interesting subject in league. If you are repetitively toxic you risk a permanent ban on your account or worse, the tyler1 treatment. However, if you are repetitively disconnecting from your game the worse I've ever seen anyone experience was temp-bans.

Have you ever thought if your ISP was shaky enough for you to worry about whether or not you can maintain a connection for more than 40 minutes you shouldn't have queued for a ranked game? Please, don't bullshit me on maybe this offense was out of your control. If you have this happen three times in the past week you should probably not be playing in ranked regardless.

Riot's infamous client problems? First of all, if your client has disconnected so much you're threatening temp-bans on your account, again, should you even be playing ranked in the first place? And even if you don't have the brains to stop playing ranked, perhaps send a ticket to riot or create a forums post about your unruly punishment.

Obviously you won't get the instant-worse punishment for one bad game of toxicity, or one game where your internet connection had a fritz. However, if this has been reoccurring for - lord - a week at the very least you should receive some worse punishment than a meager temp-ban.

People are afraid of being toxic because of the threat to their account. Who thinks twice about AFKing when the worse that can happen to you is a temporary removal?

Just a mad kid that lost a game because of an afk

In the beginning, You make it sound like there is a single employee sitting with a thumb up his bum doing absolute squat. which is clearly not true. My biggest fear is: To give you what you want, RIOT has to do a complete ranking system overhaul, demotions and ranking resets inevitable. It would be complete chaos for months, maybe ranked systems being disabled. BUT it fix everything. Scary

In my opinion it is a great time to do it after world/season ends. They should do it at least, do you remember the old rank system? That was like hell for me when i started out.
